Steemit Ion Chef Community organizes a contest on recipes every week and the organizer of this contest is @crismenia. I'm not late either, today I'm sharing a recipe on the recipe contest that I cook depending on the availability of this vegetable.
A brief description of this vegetable can be given before giving the recipe. Fiddle heat is a type of vegetable we eat but it is a fiddlehead fern plant and ferns grows in different countries of Bangladesh and Asia. Waterlogging, grows as a weed in moist environments along riverside.Generally, this fern grows in abundance in the hilly areas of our country, especially in Chittagong and Sylhet districts, tea tree land. So not all districts or all areas see it. I collect them from Sylhet district and Chittagong district and cook them at home which my family member especially my children love to eat.This rich fern is a farm vegetable rich in vitamins, minerals and nutrients that fulfill many of the body's nutritional needs.
Here are the ingredients I needed to make this recipe--
Dheki shak/Dhekia shagk Fern | 2 bundles of vegetables |

Lentil | 2 tbsp |
Red Chili powder | ½ tsp |
Coriander powder | ¼ tsp |
Turmeric powder | ¼ tsp |
Green Chile | 4-5 slices |
Onion | 2 big chopped |
Garlic | 1 chopped |
Oil | 2 tbsp |
Salt | 1 tsp |
First take the leaves and soft parts of the tip of the Dheki shaks and throw away the hard parts and then wash well and drain the water. And at this stage I'll cut the Dheki shaks short. Then one by one I will set the spices aside in a bowl.I will throw away the shrimp heads for cooking And chop the onion, garlic, and green chillies.
Add oil to a pan and chop the onion and garlic in it. After frying the onion garlic lightly brown, add the shrimp and fry it in oil for a while.

Then I will grind the pulses well with a mixture of spices and with a little water and boil them until half-cooked.

When the water dries from the lentil, I will give all the vegetables and cover for one to two minutes with a lid. I will not give any water, a little water will come out of the vegetables .After lifting the lid and stirring for a while, when I see the vegetable water has dried up, I'll pour it into a bowl to serve.
This vegetable is very good to eat with white rice. Very tasty a vegetable that's rich in nutrients. The vegetable has a different and unique smell and its texture looks great to eat.
