Contest : My Story with Vegetables
I agree that some children don't really like vegetables. Even when I was little, I often refused if my mother asked me to eat vegetables, but I think it was just a matter of time. As I got older, I began to realize the importance of eating vegetables.
However, my mother has many ways to make me familiar with vegetables. One of them is by making a traditional vegetable recipe that is often served in the dining room. Cassava leaf vegetables are my favorite vegetables. I like the way my mother prepares this dish, by adding coconut milk and simple spices, these vegetables taste more savory with a special taste.
And luckily, I have learned from my mother about how to make this recipe, so if I want it I can prepare it myself in the kitchen.
And now that I am an adult, I have a small garden behind the house. And I use the garden to plant some cassava stems. Cassava leaves can be harvested in a short time, so I don't need to buy them at the market. This is his favorite vegetable besides other vegetables.
Now it's time for me to show you about the vegetable I'm talking about. I will prepare the recipe and also the ingredients. I hope this can be a reference for those of you who have a cassava garden and can process the leaves into delicious and nutritious vegetables of course.. 😄

- 3 bunches of cassava leaves (optional). Wash the cassava leaves then cut them into several pieces. Boil with hot water until tender. Add green chillies if you like.

- Once boiling, add the cassava leaves.

- Cook the vegetables for about 5 minutes while stirring.
- Correct the taste and serve in a heat-resistant container.

Tips:
- Boil the cassava leaves first before making them into vegetables, the goal is to remove the bitter taste.
- During the cooking process, do not stop stirring so that the coconut milk does not clump.
- Use medium heat when cooking so that the vegetables cook evenly.
By making this delicious vegetable recipe, I am sure that children will not refuse to consume vegetables when they are at the dinner table 👨👩👦
