Today I want to introduce you to one of my favorite snacks - baked slices with ham and cheese. This is a great way to enjoy a delicious and quick breakfast or a light dinner. Here is a detailed recipe that will help you create this temptation :)

Ingredients:
5 slices of bread (white, wholemeal or other of your choice)
100g ham (you can use smoked or regular)
200g yellow cheese (or yellow cheese)
Salt and pepper to taste (or spices of your choice)
Butter or olive oil for greasing the pan

Preheat the oven to 180°C. This will ensure that the slices bake evenly. Grease the baking tray with a little butter or olive oil to prevent the slices from sticking. Cut the ham into thin slices and place the cheese on top.

Take each slice of bread and lightly butter both sides. This will add extra flavor and crunch. Place a slice of ham on each slice. You can arrange them so that they cover the entire surface of the slice. Place the cheese on top of the ham. Make sure the cheese is evenly distributed to get a golden crust when baking.

Arrange the finished slices in the pre-greased pan. Leave a little space between them so that they do not stick together during baking. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown. Remove the pan from the oven and let the slices cool for a few minutes before serving. They are best when they are warm and freshly baked. If you wish, you can serve the baked ham and cheese slices with fresh vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes or peppers, as well as a glass of juice. This recipe is perfect for those times when you want something quick, yet tasty and filling. Enjoy your meal! :)
