Overcoming: My Great Talent: Writing and Telling Stories

One of the things I am really good at, writing and sharing stories. I really enjoy putting words together to either express ideas/experiences and information more intriguing and meaningful. Writing is no longer just a past time but easily part of my life particularly for sharing thoughts from Steemit and writing into a platform.

I began to practice this seriously after joining a bunch of online writing group. At first, writing was in order to capture the experience but later I found out that good writing can move other people. You see it takes years and basically going from reading the work of other people, writing in different styles and beside community feedback

To improve this skill, I routinely:

Read more – Both articles, essays, and books from various genres to enrich my vocabulary and insight.

Write consistently – Every day I try to pour my thoughts into writing, either for publication or as personal practice.

Accept criticism and suggestions – I join a community that provides constructive feedback to continue to grow.

Observing the latest writing trends and styles – This helps me adapt my writing to stay relevant.
