We rarely cook pear only for festivities. You remove the skin and cook the part with cinnamon and some syrup and they look really red! There's only one tyoe of pear you can use for it, I asdume the others are too soft or tasteless or?
Pear juuce and ice cream is also a nice treat. I don't see pears frequently, no idea why. I guess it's too expensive to pick the fruit.
Pear is a seasonal fruit here in Nigeria and this is the time of the year for it, and it doesn't come alone, it comes with something more sweet and nutritious to combine with, which is Corn ๐ฝ with this two food, you can say no to other kind of food.
I wouldn't know why is it scares in your side, it is every where here in Akwa ibom, Nigeria and it's also affordable.
