One Picture and One Story #80

Nigeria played a world cup qualifier game some days back and I was opportuned to watch the match with some other people in a place where we mostly go to watch matches. We were all optimistic about Nigeria winning the match because we have alot of talented and good players representing Nigeria in both national and international matches.

The match started exactly 5pm that day and gradually more people were coming to the place to watch the match though they couldn't see any spare seat to sit on. I was happy I went there on time if not I would have stood up throughout the match. The match was very lively and we were loving it, we were expecting goals from us first.

In the first half Victor Osimhen successfully scored a very nice goal and the entire people in the place was very excited about this, we still believed that Nigeria will score more goals. We were just watching the match with do much faith even though Nigeria footballers popularly known as Super Eagles do disappoint us sometimes.

The first half ended with a score record of 0-1. Rwanda players also believed they can still score some goals in the second half and it finally started, I was praying for us to score another goal first before Rwanda scores us incase they are destined to score any goal that day. There was some fouls in the match and yellow cards was given to some players. The fans never stopped supporting their country players.

Victor Osimhen scored another goal again in the second half, it was incredible. Ademola Lookman also performed very well in the match, he was seen everywhere and he was always playing the corner kicks for Nigeria as his crosses are magnificent. I have forgotten when Osimhen scored the second goal though it was before the 52nd minute if the and i remember that after he scored the goal Nigerians were totally convinced that we have won the match.

Rwanda tried their best but they couldn't score any goal in the match as the match ended 0-2 Alot of people happily left the place, some of them were saying that they placed a bet for Nigeria to win they match and they believe they will get some profits if the other matches they bet turns out good for them. It was a very nice day and I pray for the Super Eagles to always put in their best in every match they play.
