Greetings and blessings to all my lovely chef friends

Assalam o alikum friends welcome to my blog I am extremelyhappy to share my fifth continue participation post in Global cousins,this week I got many new interesting facts from the lesson that given by our lovely teacher @suboohi .The journey of taste started from Chinese, Pakistani and now reaching at Venezuela cousins.contest post link share here

What is new for you from the course, any spice or cooking technique or anything that you want to share?

Well yes I think every country had its own traditional cousins taste and recipes,the corn bread called arepa 🫓 is a staple of this country, but in Pakistan we consumed wheat flour bread ,the gatherings and elders respect just similar like in our country.

Well the cooking methods are mostly same as we all used or fimilar but the old traditional cooking in Venezuela called Olla , in which the large clay pot used for slow cooking and streaming ,that sounds interesting,I never ever try this method but good to listen in the tradition of this country made food still in this way in a clay pot .The grilling and strewing meat , chicken also my favourite style cooking for health point of view grilled good had less calories.The rich and vibrant looking cousins admiring me alot.

Arroz con Pollo y Vegetales" OR Rice with chicken and vegetables

Quantityingredients
1/2 cupsWhite Rice
1/4 kgChicken boneless cubed
3 cupsWater
2 tspGround Cumin
2 tspDried Oregano
1 tspDried Thyme
1 tbsSalt to taste
1 tbsPepper to taste
2tbsDried Garlic 2 tsp
1White Onion,chopped
4 piecesgarlic Clove crushed
2 cupFrozen Mixed Vegetables
1 cupVegetable Oil
1 tbsWorcestershire Sauceto taste
1/2 cupGreen , yellow bells chillies

Step by step procedure

  • step 1:

In first step I washed the chicken from water then marinated chicken first for that I added Ground Cumin , Dried Oregano , Dried Garlic to the Chicken cubed pieces Mix well, then add Salt according to your taste ground Black Pepper and Worcestershire Sauce . Marinated chicken for 30min.

  • Step 2:

Now on second step cutting of vegetables ,if you liked to add fresh crunchy of veggies like me other wise you also put frozen vegetables, cut all vegetables nicely. Capsicum, carrots, onion ,peas, red chilli are used in this recipe.

Add Vegetable Oil to a heating then add the well mixed chicken. Stir fry until cooked and then remove from the the stove.the yummy aroma spreading out from the chicken it means chicken tender and ready to add in the rice .

  • Step: 3

Then in a pan, add the Green Bell Pepper , Red Chili Pepper ,White Onion ,Garlic cloves, and Mixed Vegetables wait for stir fry until cooked.

  • Step 4 :

Add the chicken, soaked Rice , and peas with vegetables, mix well then add 3 cups of Water ,covered the lid on until cooked.

Today with in 30 minutes recipe id ready to eat ,delicious rice with chicken and vegetables are ready to serve. I am enjoying the whole process and happy to learn another new recipe by the course .

Well yes I am from Pakistan in our country given recipe resumble food is pullaow ,I also cooked mix vegetables rice with chicken called mixed pullaow ,not exactly the ingredients but the main ingredient were same like vegetables,rice and chicken used in certain method but the turned uout similar due to most of the same ingredients.

Which flavour or spice do you like from Venezuelan cuisine ?

I liked the cumin,yellow bell pepper and oregano powder that used in Venezuelan cooking frequently I also liked the healthy and delicious food like stews from vegetables and meat 🍲from Venezueln cousin .The grilling and steaming methods for cooking they used also liked by me both ways are super healthy and delicious as well .most of the spices fimilar and also used in Pak cousin ,the sauces are also outstanding.l made this recipe first time but honestly I got really perfect and satisfied results.My family members liked and appreciated 👍.

I hope I given all answers that asked in home tasks for students,at the end I suggest you all definitely try out the above recipe it's very yummy and easy to cook ,my family love it ,now a day's Our fast is continuing today is our 17 th fast I made this rice dish for my iftar meal .
