Greetings to all my bakers friends

Hello friend i am @sualeha from Pakistan it's pleasure for me to share my participation in week 2 by making chocolate cake.I have great fun during baking my today's chocolate learned by the course recipe shared by our lovely teacher @m-fdo .So guys let's move on my step by step recipe with procedure,I am trying to share relevant images during the specific steps, helpful for all ......Contest post link share here

How I made step by step procedure

Exploring new recipes always great pleasure for me ,I baked the chocolate cake recipe many times but not exactly the recipe that I following today anyways let's start my task...

Step 1

By first I took a clean bowl 🥣 added butter and sugar in required quantities and blended by hand beater.

Make sure incorporated the sugar and butter very well untill creamy textured form now moved on other step .

Step :2

Added eggs one by one in bowl and beated very well .

After that incorporated few drops of vanilla essence in cake mixture.

Step :3

Now added Coco powder and all purpose flour in the mixture very,1/2 table spoon of baking powder in it .

Mixed all ingredients very well by cut and fold method,fold the cake mixture by light hands over mixing might be make your cake harder so used lightly mixed.

Step :4

By pre heated the over first at 180 cc degrees for 40 minutes.

Placed the butter paper on cake tin and converted the all mixture in pan and tap the tin to removed the air in the cake pan.Now put the oven at 140 degrees for 30 minutes.

Step :5

During baking checked the cake by tooth pic insert and when I got dry I off the oven and bring out the chocolate cake and let it cool then cutted by knife .

Final presentation

Here is the final presentation of my chocolate cake ,my kids really liked it,the turned out of the cake is super chocolatey and fluffy,I observed that every new cake were more perfect and tempting then previous one.U hope you all like my simple and quick recipe of chocolate cake , thanks to @m-do who taught us step by step in cake challenge.

Total cost of my chocolate cake is 400/=Pakistani rupees which were equivalent to 10 steem.apporx🎂 ,it's quite economical and home made cakes are more fresh and delicious plus more hygiene as compared we bought from bakery

No it's not my first time making chocolate cake infact I started my baking from chocolate cake but the recipe was different.as I said above it's fantastic chance for all of us to learn new recipes of different cakes from the course.

It was my first cake that I baked fory mother on mother's Day with great love and patience I fact I never knew the a,b,c of baking and no oven I had on these days ,I remembered baked in pan ,it was a layered cake and I had no idea how to correctly layer out the cake sponge , thanks to you tube channel and my favourite bakery chef Amna I learnt the tip how to evenly lared the cake cutted by thread .I went on my mom place with my first chocolate cake and my mother and all my family members appreciated me and liked 🥰 🥰 and tasted my baking first time .

The second and the most memorable chocolate cake made by me on last year's birthday of my lovely daughter,I done that cake central filled with choco chips and ganache,the yummest ever cake 🎂 🎂.

Explain the importance of the cocoa powder/chocolate powder used in the cake. Also, why do you use less cocoa powder than flour?

The chocolate cake the coco powder or chocolate power having place like heart in the body ,most of the people liked the rich taste , vibrant look and yummy flavor of chocolate powder .

Why we used less coco powder in cake as compared to flour the reason is that the Coco powder had slightly bitter taste so if we Add the equal amount of Coco powder your chocolate cake might be bitter so the measurements of both keenly incorporates in cake mixture.The second reason is that the colour of Coco powder is too much darker it's affected on the colour of the cake presentation , looking burnt .

Your post was very nice and detailed. I really learnt a lot by following your chocolate cake recipe. You explained the ingredients and process very clearly, which is very helpful for beginners. Your explanation on the use and quantity of cocoa powder was especially helpful, as it has a big impact on the taste and colour of the cake.
