Good day steemians, I have come today to present a very wonderful drawing of mine in steemit, I used to post my drawings in steemit every. I thank @enamul17 for creating this contest and this is the 41st week of it. A very lively contest I have always admired in the past till now and am glad am participating again this year. Drawing is really amazing and I love it.

Materials needed

My materials for this drawing isn't difficult to afford as they are always available at home although the last one I will mention is about to finish. 🥶

  • Eraser
  • Ruler
  • A4 paper

Step 1

Ok after placing my paper on a book on top the table, I started drawing the first gooseberry fruit at the front according to the image I was following to draw mine.

I tried my best to make it perfect and it looks like a heart shape. I really did well and I took picture of it and thought of what to draw next.

Step 2

I looked at the seed in the image I downloaded and I decided to draw it next, it is round and not very big.

After that I shaded the seed very thick. I drew some inner parts of it too and shaded it lightly, just a line at the center.

Step 3

There's a gooseberry behind the one at the front and it hasn't been peeled yet. I drew some part of it next.

After that I decided to make a thick shading at the top of it.

Step 4

The other part of the fruit at the front was what I drew next, it is a quarter part of the fruit and is by the right side of the image I downloaded.

I made a very thick or dark shading at the gooseberry behind and ensured that it is very neat and attractive. Then I shaded some part of the quarter gooseberry too.

Step 5

The last step was making a light shading at the inner parts of the gooseberry, is very juicy and i love it's appearance so much.

I tried my best to ensure that the light shading makes the drawing look very professional and matured and am happy I successfully did that. The drawing was completed before I decided to just add my username under it and then take a selfie of it outside.

Are you familiar with this fruit? Is this fruit available in your country? Have you eaten this fruit yet? How much is it worth in your area? (Include steem prices with your country prices.)

I have never seen this fruit in Nigeria and I think it is very rare in my country since I haven't come in contact with it before. I had to make some research to know the price of it in my country and I discovered is worth more than NGN230 which is equivalent to the range of 1-2 steem currently.

I invite @ikwal, @shiftitamanna and @ruthjoe to participate in this contest.
