Unforgettable moment of life".
Very funny and also very interesting contest hint for the week because everyone must have a unforgettable moment of life either good or bad, like my own it was bad.
My unforgettable moment in my life is my movements from Cross River state to Benue state for Jamb regulilazation and also my school clearance, journey of one day becomes journey of 3 days because of bad motor and bad engine.
There is a said which is don't mind the body mind the engine but now mind both body and engine because it is very important, I was given transport fees when I was travelling by my parents, I didn't want to paid I want free things, so I went to our barracks check point.
Check point is a place where soldiers do duty to protect the road and also search and check vehicles each times they passed with goods.
So I went to them and tell them that I am travelling to Benue state that please they should look for me a vehicle that will carry me from cross River state of benue state free without me paying anything at all and the did what I said but it was a bad vehicle.
I waited for over 5 hours waiting for free vehicle because the ones they see they said I should paid money in which I didn't want to pay at all, so they later found one for me but the vehicle is nothing to write home about but as far it was free i didn't mind at all.
I enter the car and as we were moving the car was very hot inside and the engine was making noise very serious, so when we get to ogoja very far from the check point the vehicle stop and refuses to on again.
We look for mechanics that will check the car and tell us the problem of the car but where the car stop is inside bush very far from town and it is around 5 to 6 like that so the driver said let spend a night here that first time tomorrow morning he will rush to the town and get mechanics that will come and check the car.
I was very scared spending night with people I didn't know, and secondly everywhere was bush no single house was found, we managed and sleep inside the car hungry but for me I didn't sleep very well because i was very vigilant because of the strange people i was sleeping with.
First thing the next day because I even wake up I saw mechanic and they were trying to fix the vehicle and it spent like 5 good hours before everything was set normal and they paid the mechanic and put him inside the car so that when we get to ogoja town we will drop him there and continue our journey to Benue state, so when we get to ogoja town we drop him and we continue our journey.
As we were moving another terrible one happened, our driver try to over takes dangote vehicle in a bending corner and he didn't know there is a car coming on our way try to give that one space the dangote vehicle hit our car to one sides of the road the next thing we found ourselves is the car was in front of a church and mango tree inside a bush close to the road, some passengers got injured but like me i was okay.
We try our best to move out the motor from the bush back to the road it takes us the full day and the next day morning because the church came that we must paid for their stand board we hit and also their church cassava farm that our vehicles destroyed, so before we finish all this it was around 5 to 6 in the evening, so we rested there.
The next day morning with all the experience and things that I have passed through for the two days I remove my load from the vehicle and find my way because of free vehicle I could have nearly lost my life.
