Chioma was always crying in her loudest voice, as a baby people thought she must be crying because of hunger or just children pattern of seeking for attention. Nobody cares much to check hence the parents are supposed to take care of their crying baby. The crying became more worrisome and intense. Mr Matthew who always preach along their street decided to find out why the baby was crying probably pray for her.
Unfortunately, the treble and unexplainable happened, Jesus Jesus Mr Matthew was shouting for help, Neighbors come oooooh what my eyes are seeing I can't explain it when the baby saw someone she closed her mouth and was breathing heavily as a result of the cry.

Neighbors gathered for help and they discovered that Chioma's parents has passed away , What a world! .

The hurriedly made arrangements for their burial because they are smelling already, after the burial Mr Matthew decided to adopt Chioma as her daughter.

She warned his family never to threat Chioma as an outsider because she is part of their family. Once in a while Mr Matthew's children will get to Chioma's nerve just to frustrate her ,but one thing about Chioma is her quite and submissive life. No matter how they look for her trouble she ignore them and made sure she played her part as their father instructed.

The worst stroked Mr Matthew who was Chioma's only hope got involved in a ghastly accident that claimed everybody's life. Chioma cried her eyes out because she knew that's the only person that genuinely loved her in the family.

Chioma turned to a slave in Mr Matthew's house, the wife and children started reminding her how she became part of their family. That didn't border chioma because she don't have any other place to go or anybody to report to . She managed to finish her secondary school and started learning how to make bags and traditional beads just across their house.

Mr Matthew's children became professionals in their field of studies and were due for marriage but no man was coming forth. Their mother took it upon herself to connect her children to big men yet it wasn't working.

One day , an Honorable house member brought business deal for Chioma's madam , they are to deliver beads within 3 days. Chioma and her madam worked on the bead day and night and the beads were ready on the second day . Chioma was sent to the honorable house for the delivery. Luck ran on her the Honorable son collected Chioma's number and they started communicating secretly.

The guy started making his intentions known to Chioma but she was afraid because of the people she is staying with. They Honorable son assured her that he will be with her in everything even when they don't accept him he will sort out things with her, Chioma agreed and invited him to their house. Mr Matthew's wife welcomed the guy and they had long talk about Chioma. When the guy left Mr Matthew's wife cautioned Chioma and seriously warned her from communicating with the guy. Chioma already knew it was going to result to that. They stopped her from going out while the woman projected her own children to honorable son.

The guy insisted of marrying Chioma and taking good care of her. Mr Matthew's wife was furious and started making plans of sending Chioma to her sister's place in another state. She convinced Chioma that the man is looking for someone he will use for rituals that Chioma should stay away from him.

Chioma travelled to Abuja to stay with Mr Matthew's wife sister . The honorable son searched her Chioma but could not reach her.

It was time Mr Matthew's wife connected her daughter with the guy as they were getting along the girl revealed Chioma's way about to him . Without wasting time the honorable son traveled to Abuja met Chioma and wedded her in court .

That was how Chioma's life changed for good while Mr Matthew's wife is reaping her wickedness .

Lesson

• It's good to humble irrespective of the circumstances. Chioma was humble ,respectful and she was blessed with a wealthy man.

• There's hope for the upright.
