"One Picture And One Story Week #85"

It's a time when we start to enjoy the long journey of our work. This was part of the job I had, before taking a break from education-related activities to focus on my current job. This is the year I began my involvement in the world of education, which is closely related to improving the quality of education of both teachers, students and school leaders supported by school committees of course.

After a rigorous selection and training, I was given the opportunity to accompany teachers, principals and school committees to Medan. The purpose of our study tour was to see the progress of the school under the guidance of USAID Priority, a government agency engaged in education. So, the school we went to was a school that had participated in activities organized by the agency.

The fifteen schools under the agency's guidance are spread across Tanah Jambo Aye and Seunuddon sub-districts. And I have the task of fostering one of the schools in these two sub-districts. And this is my first experience mentoring a school, having passed the selection process held by the organization. Of course, before leaving we took documentation first. And I think this is an experience that is very expensive. Especially when it comes to improving the quality of education.

And a journey filled with meaning. That is, accompanying people who have a very noble task who devote themselves to fostering the next generation of the nation's youth. Things that are full of challenges for the future of the nation's children who are educated and have noble morals.
