Prime Minister For 24 Hours

Hello everyone, there are things that are just good imagining from afar and ofcourse it is not a crime to dream big but I will say for sure that if I happened to be a politician and then get to where I become a prime minister in my country, I will effect the following changes.

Honestly if there is anything that has held African countries down is having a high cost of governance, the politicians over here earns more than even the United States president but at the same time most countries are still underdeveloped. As single convoy for just a senate president in Nigeria cost a whooping $10million and that's so huge, and one would pause to ask what they are using these money for.

I will make sure each politician does not have more than one escort, you shouldn't be scared of the good things you do. Every public service holder will have to treat themselves in the hospital provided by the same government they are handling instead of flying abroad to go and treat themselves with public funds. And I will make sure be it politician or an ordinary worker in the state earns the same depending on their certificate.

Currently the federal government doesn't even have a good number of public amenities to service the public conveniently, I will make sure I put in place this Amenities even to the rural areas. Even as we know that some politicians do avert public funds to their own pocket, I will set up a strong committee to oversee the job completion.

Also, task paid by the citizens will be used to service those infrastructures and not to service Government runnings because most of these our politicians do away with the tax gotten from the public to service their selfish interest.

If there is any issue that has bothered my country presently is rigging of election and the body entrusted with this task are not competent enough to tell the truth. Last election was a total mess, elections were rigged, ballot boxes were hijacked, people were forced on gun point to vote for who they were not supposed to while others were paid at the polling unit to vote for who they weren't supposed to vote for.

In this light, I would make sure everything done on the point unit should also be integrated into the virtual space where people can vote at the comfort at their home after choosing who they really want to vote for without being pressurized to do so. Also, there will be a bot Integrated into the system that counts vote automatically upload the results, this will make the outcome fair and unbiased.

The western world is developed because of education, education is affordable and standard over there, so most of the yearly budget will go to the educational system making it free till tertiary level. This will give those who are willing to go to school and opportunity to work out their dreams.

Ignorance sometimes is not a bliss, education is the key as they say and yes these statements are true, with education Africa can rise back to their glory and regain their place.

One of the many things I will do is mass Dropping some politicians who have one way or the other stolen from the public, politicians who have stolen any public funds would not be found fit to lead in any office and might risk spending their lifetime in jail.

Just some days back, our former governor was arraigned for stealing public funds summing up to #700 billion naira, that's huge for a single person to steal, this would've been enough to build schools, industries, roads and even feed the less privileged but a heartless singles person stole this while the state is still in so much debt.
