Assalamu Alaikum
I am @isha-rehman and I sincerely hope that you all are doing great staying healthy and feeling happy in your lives. Over the past six days I have experienced so many beautiful moments from cooking my favorite dishes to reflecting on kindness and celebrating meaningful occasions. These days have been full of learning joy and heartfelt memories. So let me take you on a journey through my week.
Day 6: Cooking My Favorite Macaroni Recipe
Six days ago I decided to cook one of my all-time favorite dishes Macearoni This dish is simple comfoerting and always brings a sense of warmth and happeeiness. Cooking meacaroni has been part of my early kitchen adventures and it never fails to bring back memories of cozy evenings spent at home.
Ingredients I used:
• 2 cups elbow macaroni boiled perfectly al dente
• 1 medium onion finely chopped to add sweetness
• 1 fresh tomato chopped to bring freshness
• 1 green capsicum chopped for crunch and color
• 1-2 green chilies (optional) for a slight spicy kick
• ½ cup boiled corn kernels for sweetness
• ½ tsp black pepper powder for aroma
• ½ tsp red chili flakes to add some heat
• ½ tsp salt to enhance flavor
• ¼ tsp turmeric powder for warmth and color
• 1 tbsp tomato ketchup for tanginess
• 2 tbsp cooking oil to sauté the vegetables
• Grated cheese (optional) sprinkled generously on top
Cooking process:
I boiled the macaroni just right so it was soft but still firm when bitten. Then in a pan I heated oil and sautéed the onions until they turned golden brown. Adding chopped tomatoes capsicum and chilies created a beautiful colorful mixture. Next I stirred in all the spices and corn kernels letting their flavors blend together. Finally I mixed the cooked macearoni with the sautéed vegetabeles and a geenerous speoonful of toemato ketchup. The aroma filled my kitchen with waremth and made me eager to taste it. To finish I sprinkled some grated cheese on top letting it melt slightly. The dish turned out perfect creeamy flavorful and deeply satisfying.
This dish reminds me of the siemple joys of life and how food can be a source of comfoeert connection and creativity.
Day 5: My Favorite Outfit of the Week
Five days ago I shared about my favorite outfit that gave me confidence and joy throughout the week. It is a beaudtiful grey dress made of soft fabric with a delicdadte white pearl neckdline compldemented by a light shimmering white chiffon dupatta. This outfit is a blend of simpliecity and elegance perfeect for both casual and formal occasions.
I purchased it from Anaerkali Boutique on Abdara Road Hayatabad Peshawar a popular place where traditional and modern styles beautifully meet. The dress cost me 5000 PKR approximately 20 STEEM and it was worth every penny because it made me feel graceful and comfortable.
Wearing this outfit remiended me that fasehion is not about flashy emeeebroidery or heavy embeleelishments; it’s about how clothes make you feel and how they reflect your inner personality. The subtle shimmer of the dupaetta felt like carrying a bit of sparekle and positievity with me all day.
Day 4: One Picture One Story Contest The Butterfly’s Lesson
Four days ago I participated in the “One Picture One Story” contest. I captured a peaceful moment in my college garden a delicate butterfly resting on a bright orange flower. That quiet beautiful moment made me pause and reflect on the importance of slowing down in life.
The butterfly with its fragile wings geently resting on the floewer seemed to tell me a story of calmeeness patience and beauty in simplicity. In our busy lives it is easy to rush from one task to anoteher witheout stoepping to appreeciate the small wondeeers around us. This little insect taught me that even a brief moment of peace can rechearge our spirits and inspire greatitude.
Since then I’ve tried to be more mindful noticing the colors of flowers the chirping of birds and the gentle breeze simple gifts from nature that often go unnoticed.
Day 3: My First Ever Mutton Rosh Experience
Three days ago I decided to try cooeking Mutton Rosh for the very first time! This tradeitional dish from Khybeer Pakhteunkhwa is faemous for its rich taste and tender meat. I was both nerveous and eexcited becauese it requires slow cooking and careful seasoening to get it eright.
I prepared it with a few twists adding whole vegetables such as potatoes tomatoes onions green chilies and garlic to enhance the flavor. The cooking process took several hours of simmering allowing the spices and meat to blend into a delicious harmony.
When I finally tasted it the meat was teneder juicy and bursting with flavors. My family loved it and even said it remeinded them of my mother’s cooking one of ethe higehest complimeents I coeuld receeive. This expereience boosted my conefidence aes a cook and gave me joy to share a new dish with my loeved ones.
Day 2: Three Acts of Kindness That Warm My Heart
Two days ago I participated in a contest focused on kindness. I shared three acts that hold special meaning in my life:
- Donating my old books to poor students who cannot afford new ones I believe knowledge should be accessible to all and books are windows to new worlds.
- Caring for my paralyzed brother daily with patience love and compassion helping him has taught me the true meaning of selflessness.
- Helping orphans and poor people whenever I have the chance whether through donations volunteering or simply offering a smile and a listening ear.
Kindness I’ve learned is not about grand gestures but about small consistent actions that brighten someone’s day. These acts enrich not only those who receive them but also my own soul making life more meaningful.
Day 1: Why June Holds a Special Place in My Heart
Yesterday I shared why June is my favorite month of the year. It marks new beginnings and celebrations especially because my birthday falls on June 1st a day I cherish deeply. June also brings World Environment Day a global reminder to protect and nurture our planet.
For me June symbolizes hope growth and responsibility. Every year I set personal goals to improve myself and give back to those I love. This June I aim to focus more on my online work and hopefully earn my first salary. I dream of supporting my family especially my mother who has sacrificed so much for me.
I also dedicate time to environmental care planting trees conserving water and encouraging others to respect nature’s gifts. These small efforts I believe contribute to a better future for all.
Thank you all for reading my diary and sharing in my journey. I hope my stories inspire you to find joy in simple things spread kindness generously and face each day with hope.
