An-Nisa (4:75): And what is it with you? You do not fight in the cause of Allah and for oppressed men, women, and children who cry out, “Our Lord! Deliver us from this land of oppressors! Appoint for us a saviour; appoint for us a helper—all by Your grace.”

The ongoing conflict in Gaza has caused immense suffering, with tens of thousands of Palestinian children and women killed and injured in what we can describe as a genocide.

We should emphasize the need for international support and advocacy for Palestinians, rejecting pity in favor of concrete action to stop the violence.

Ultimately, while the war may end, we believe the perpetrators will face lasting consequences for their actions, and the Palestinian people will persevere.
