Unforgettable moment of life".

Greetings dear friend and how was your weekend going? I'm pretty sure it worked out as planned. Mine was smooth. I want to use this opportunity to participate in this contest organized by @muhammad-ahmad by Steem for Pakistan. Today's contest is titled "Life's Unforgettable Moments".

In life, everyone has an unforgettable Moment be it sad story and joyous story which stay in our memories forever. The sad once make us feel emotional, while the good once gladdens our hearts. After having an comprehensive understanding of this topic, l decided to share one of the unforgettable moments with you which is My frist pregnancy and labour experience

Let me start by saying that the nine months journey was a happy one with a joyous ending, although it wasn't easy all that, but the experience as a first time mum was indeed amazing and exciting. Here in our environment, this is the most cherished moment in a woman's life. Husbands loves and cares for their wifes more when they put to bed. Virtually every one in the families will call or visit to show their joy. Attention from both parents is 💯 percent.

During the journey, some days you wake up with mood swings another day you wake up really hungry, sometime super energetic and excited and other days lazy or tired.

With 7month pregnancy

Well, the most happiest time is when you feel your baby movement or kicks, it makes me smile. I was eagerly waiting for a moment like this.

The amazing part is when I imagine that a living creature is inside me growing by feeding from me, it makes me feel the privilege of being a mother and I do everything possible to make sure my little cutie was doing fine inside me.

I made sure that I consumed healthy meals which is a perfect key in maintain a healthy pregnancy. Eating healthy meals make us stay healthy at all times which helps the child growth. I also do carry out non strenuous exercises which helps both of us to enjoy each day.

I like my work, l like my profession, l like serving humanity, as I didn't neglect my work instead I takes it as way to remain stronger. On the 10 day October 2022, I had a minor cramps in the morning, I thought to ordinary as some days. I carried out my day activities normally since I was on night duty shifts. In the evening I journeyed out to work.

I and others of my colleagues received handing over for the night shift, We carried out ward round. After this moment, I was unable to do anything. I felt a sharp pain for 30 minutes and afterward a sudden rupture of membranes. At this point, my doctor was called upon, she conduct Virgina examination and I was already at 4cm dilated.

Remember l went to work as a nurse, now l turned a patient that mid night hahahah😂. The labour was so painful and severe such that I can't forget it in a hurry.

Blossom At birth

I called my husband and my sister they came to round with my maternity bag. By 2:30am.... still dark. Fortunately for me, I welcome my beautiful baby to the world. We named her Blossom . Our both families and friends were excited to wake up with the good news as was spread, they surprised us with lot of gift.

The birth of our first daughter is a life- changing experience for me and my husband. The emotions of love, joy and responsibilities that come with holding our newborn child in our arm for the first time is indescribable. Her birth has created a lot of memories in my heart which remain unforgettable.
