1 Picture 1 Story Week #84 ( The game of MADARI )
Hello my dear friends. I am one of your friends. My name is Kartik Agarwal. I live in India. I am going to share my thoughts with you. I like this contest very much . This contest is launched by @suboohi ma'am. So let's begin without wasting time;
Nowadays, the game of Madari is getting extinct. Earlier, Madaris used to show monkey or snake games a lot and everyone, whether young or old, used to watch those games with great interest. Earlier, the source of income for Madaris was only by showing games, but with changing times, now no one likes to watch these Madari games because YouTube and mobile have replaced these Madaris, so people watch all the games on mobile only.
When I was very young, I remember that the sound of Damru used to echo in the streets around the house, then all of us used to get startled by hearing the sound that the Madari has come to watch the game. And the Madaris also used to show us the games with great fun and used to ask for money and food items from every house.
But now this is not the demand of the time and gradually Madaris and the games shown by them are getting extinct because a rule has been passed by the government that keeping animals captive also comes under the category of crime, perhaps this can be the reason for the extinction of Madaris.
When we were small, the sounds of Damru used to echo in the streets almost every day and we all used to come out of our houses and at any crossroad or corner, the Madaris used to show their tricks and we used to get very happy seeing those tricks and used to clap a lot. Mostly Madaris used to make the monkeys dance and perform tricks which we used to enjoy a lot but now all this is a thing of the past.
Now the present generation or children do not know these Madaris and if you talk to them, they will not be able to recognize them because now Madaris have completely disappeared and the games shown by them have also disappeared. In today's time, if children do not get time from mobile, then how will they know about these games but in the past, Madaris used to be the means of entertainment for children and children also used to wait very eagerly for the Madaris to come to their streets.
In today's time, Madaris are only a part of history. Elders sometimes tell their children about them through stories or explain them through pictures. Only then the children are able to understand what Madari is.
