I wish you all my Steemian friends are okay and being joyful in each your area of the world. “Today I am excited to be back and participate in this awesome challenge hosted by the Steem For Pakistan community.
It's been raining there at my place every day since a few days. We are getting on well with our daily round in spite of the rain. One minute it’s raining cats and dogs, the next it’s just a light drizzle that kisses the ground gently. The rhythm was the same today rain drumming softly on our windows. The air was quiet, cool, and awesome in its loveliness.

I woke up to the sound of rain drops and for the first time in a while, I loved the feeling of coziness. My little baby did not feel as pleased about it all, however. He gazed out the window and disappointed no outdoor play for him. I consoled him with the assurance that we'll go to the playground once the rain stopped.

Following some peaceful morning rain watching, we went for breakfast. I had faluda which I had prepared a day before- it was tasty and refreshing.

Once refreshed, I did a few things in the house and hung out with my little one. Later, I went to the kitchen to cook a simple lunch because that night we had to go out for a invitation. I made it all light and comforting, some variations of vegetable vaji, vorta and dal. After I was done cooking, I took a nice hot shower, had a leisurely lunch with my family, and relaxed a bit.

As we got up, the rain settled! My baby lit up with happiness. We went to the playground, as promised. He played happily with his friends, pedaling his bike and running around in delight. It was great to see his smile again.

In the evening, I enjoyed a delicious plate of chotpoti as an evening snack a wonderful pick-me-up on a cold rainy day. Not long after, it was time to prepare for the invitation to dinner at our friend’s place.

We went and had a fabulous time. It was vibrant, warm and full of laughter. We lived in same community, but our busy lives had kept us apart lately. This was a real tonic an occasion for catching up. Our friend had cooked a few of tasty food and we sat around laughing and chatting through the night, making memories that will hold us together until we see each other next.

What began as a dreary rainy morning became a warm, loving, food and laughter filled adventure. We celebrated the rain that threatened to ruin our fun and made the better of every second. Days like this serve as a reminder that joy is often found in the small moments stolen meals, baby laughter, the warmth of good people.
