Hey Beautiful.

You're my moon. You are beautiful like the Moon

All of us have heard these phrases in our lives. People praise someone while calling them the moon.

And the one who gets the praise become happy because the moon is beautiful, isn't it?

Moon is white
Moon is bright
Moon has attraction

But poets forgot it was just what our eyes see. Or they might had been drunk while writing poetry and praising their lover.

Moon is more than that.

The next time someone calls you the moon, just remember that:

Moon has lunar dust that is the result of the strike of comet particles to the moon.

This moon dust is insanely everywhere on it and goes up the moon's surface several kilometers.

When the Allopo Mission was going on, one of the issues they confronted was moon dust. It would stick them like a glue stick and smell like a powder gun. It surely is injurious to the health.

Do you have dust on your face or are you that stinky?

There is no oxygen on the moon. It's impossible to survive there without its supply.

Are you that suffocating that no one can breathe around you?

The core of the moon has iron, its fluid too has it. You must have known that Earth has no iron. It fell from the sky, now we need to find out from where. But iron rusts.

Are you rusty?

Moon has marks, caused by mountains or imprints of mountains.
Mountains are rough, they look beautiful from far away but are deadly and dangerous once you get too close.

Are you rough? Or does your skin have depression that they called you The moon*?

Pardon me. But I'm on a mission impossible to destroy so-called romance linked to the moon😁

Just kidding. I like the moon too and moon gazing is one of the most satisfying things one can have in their night routine.

Long ago when we used to sleep under the sky, watching the sky full of stars and a Moon.
It was the time when there was no concept of smog and we could see tiny stars as well.

Or maybe it was due to good eyesight back then.

But it brought tranquillity in our lives united with family members under the night sky.

Our earth's moon (Luna) too has a sea called the sea of tranquillity.

So I decided to paint.

For the love, people have for the brightest celestial body in the night sky.

It was not easy honestly speaking.

Today it rained at noon so I went upstairs and started painting it.

The most difficult part was to make a night sky.

I mistakenly blended black on the full canvas, though I applied blue color too but black overshadowed it.

Next, this ignorant girl wasted the full tube of blue on the lower half of the canvas to get blue, but nah, black wasn't ready for it.

Wet canvas would show it blue but once dried it will be black again.

In the evening, an idea popped into my mind and I painted the lower half white and then applied blue.

Thankfully I got better results this time.

Empty Blue tube was cursing me silently though.

When done with the night sky, next were the stars to make, I did as they showed in the video, but it turned out as if someone had brutally thrown ink on their sibling's uniform.

Sadly, I had to remove them all and do it manually. Just look at all the giant stars, consider them stars of the sky when air pollution wasn't there, hehehehe.

Painting the moon and the trees was easy, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but my mother wasn't happy with the look of the moon.

Her point was that the moon is white, while yours grey.
Innocent she

My sister approved it, if she too did criticize it, then I would certainly do one thing.

And That's nothing,

I would do nothing, my back was already yelling at me. I had to wrap it up immediately.

Trees were done, see they are touching your moon.

That's all I can say for now because tired😩

But just remember these facts about the moon when someone calls you the moon

It's your duty to educate them. There's nothing to romanticize about it:p

Extremely fascinating! I couldn't help but smile while reading your entire post. Especially, this part made me laugh.

Pardon me. But I'm on a mission impossible to destroy so-called romance linked to the moon😁

I'll share my thoughts on your painting later, but first, I want to discuss on your writing 😉.

The beauty of love and affection lies in overlooking the flaws of what we adore. Or, one could say that we become so captivated by beauty that we ignore imperfections.

People adore the moon because it illuminates dark nights. The full moon's spectacle is breathtakingly mesmerizing. Instead of focusing on its marks, people become enchanted by its serene radiance.

Perhaps this is why the moon has been a favorite subject of poets and lovers' poetry. Now, let's discuss your painting and its creation story. You've beautifully described each stage of your painting process.

I particularly enjoyed the humorous tone and the way you utilized an entire color tube for the background. There's a drawback to using black, though - if you don't monitor its quantity, it can overpower other colors. Therefore, it's essential to use colors, especially black, sparingly.

Painting is an utterly fascinating and emotionally fulfilling activity. Enjoy the process! Overall, you've done an excellent job. Keep striving, and you'll surely succeed in bringing out the hidden artist within you to the forefront.

we become so captivated by beauty that we ignore imperfections.

This is so important point that not everybody can realise it. No one is perfect and i think that's the beauty of our race.

A true love is someone who lights your world when you're surrounded by shadows everywhere. And who can be that lover other than moon?

On a lighter note, the story creation was just think out of the box. Otherwise, i also fall into the category of Moon lovers.

if you don't monitor

Yes i have learned from my mistake and there is more to learn from your art work. I.A

Overall, you've done an excellent job.

I am very very happy on your remarks and kept this post overall humorous.

I enjoy it when people say that they had a laugh or even smiled reading it.

Mehnat wasool moment 😉

Let's have a look what you painted, isn't it looking romantic?...or as beautiful as we suppose it...

Now plz don't drag Galileo to support your argument.... Look at this couplet by Faiz

چاند نکلے کسی جانب تری زیبائی کا
رنگ بدلے کسی صورت شب تنہائی کا

Ab bachara Faiz kya kry is ka😊....ni akhir kya vaga h ap ka pas in bacroo ka peechy parny ki...? 🥺

On a serious note ,mujy painting ka zyada to ni pta but you are going towards perfection. Coz the overall impression is damn good yr.and I guess you should seriously think about the real miniature version in painting ❤️🤞
