Favorite Mode of Transportation and the Importance of Public Transportation

We all have different choices in terms of the method of transport we use for day to day use. My the type of transport I like the most at the time is, well …, varies from situation. Public transportation for long trips — especially buses and trains, but I much prefer motorbike or walking (if not too far within city limits)

Public transportation is what I opt for most simply because of the efficiency. Buses and trains cost less, save time by avoiding the traffic sink of highways. Also, public transports substantially better for environment than your own car as it can lessen air pollution and cut traffic jam. But when I want some more leeway, mainly when travelling outside of public transit and for quick trips I use my motorbike. Overbusy streets, motorbikes are fairly practical to drive and save traveling time. .

If the chance comes for me to change my travel system, there is possibly an electric vehicle or a bike that I want to drive around. Electric vehicle: Electric vehicles are more environment-friendly than those run by fossil fuel and help reduce fuel oil dependence. Moreover, electric vehicles are being advanced furtherwith the technology of higher efficiency and also saving energy.

I would say that public transportation should be more encouraged all over the world in my honest opinion. We have heard this before as good public transport can reduce traffic jams and greenhouse gas emissions associated with climate change.

A large number of cities that have been developed in the rich world are cleaner, and more pleasant places to live, thanks to public transportation, which has fewer private vehicles on the road.

Also, public transportation is there to cater accessibility for non-private vehicle enabled people. More people can gain access to a low cost travel to work/school or other purpose. Better the quality of public transport services (number of routes, comfort, punctuality) so more people will opt for that then the effort must be of society as a whole or government.

On a parting note, Transportation type depends on the individual but public transportation has an important place in making transportation more effective, eco-friendly and inclusive for all.
