Recently in March, we have celebrated Holi and now Navratri and Eid Mubarak festival are about to come to celebrate.

We celebrate Holi in March, Eid Mubarak in Mid of April but this time it is coming before the time, rakshabandhan in August, Deepawali in October.

We really enjoyed these festivals and we are connected to God believes via these festivals.

What is the significance of that festival in your country's traditions and in your religion?

There are significance of these festivals:

1. We celebrate Holi because there is beleive that God had killed Holika evil and saved devotee prahalad.

2. We celebrate Navratri because there is believe that Mata Durga arrives at everyone's home for 9 days so we believe that these 9 days are purely dedicated to Ma durga worship.

3. We celebrate Eid Mubarak because our muslim brother-sister keeps fast for almost 1 month which is called ramzan, Holy month of Allah and finnally moon comes out and next day all people celebrate Eid.

4. We celebrate rakshabandhan because it is sign of true relationship between brother and sister. Sisters tie rakhi on brothers' hand and offer sweet and celebrate Rakshabandhan.

5. We celebrate Deewali because we believe that God Sri Ram came back at Ayodhya after 15 years vanvaas so we celebrate Deewali

So as you see all festivals have its own traditional stories and reson to celebrate.

How is that festival celebrated? Is there any traditional foods or activities linked to it?

There are different ways to celebrate these festivals especially Holi. In this festival we use colours and having fun to apply these colours on people's face and body. We also use liquid water to make them wet.

Best part is that, it seems like having fun or game and not only children but also adults enjoy this festival and join with children.

Recently I enjoyed my Holi festival and we used a lots of colors and having fun with relatives and neighbours. Trust me this is most funny and interesting festival.

In this festival, there is one traditional fixed sweet and that's are Gujiya . It is kind of dessert and very yummy in taste.

What is one unique fact about this festival that most people don’t know?

We celebrate Holi because we believe that God killed Holika evil but people don't know that Holika was not evil, she was goddess but due to curse, she became evil and when God killed her so she became Goddess again and we celebrate this day as Holi but people don't know about this fact.

In this beautiful contest I would like to invite @suboohi @uzma4882 @chant @crismenia

So, holi is your favourite festival.
As a Muslim, I do not celebrate holi, but I love this festival. Despite religious POV's, it is amazing to share colors and throwing them at one another.

Best wishes my dear
