"My Favorite City of My Country".
Assalamu Alaikum.
Hello everyone,
I am @sojib1996
From #Bangladesh
How are you all? I hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah I am fine too. Today I will be taking part in a beautiful contest of the Hindwhale Community community. This contest name is "My Favorite City of My Country".
Thank you so much Sir @abdullahw2 for organizing such a beautiful event.
What is your favorite city of your country? Why do you like it? |
---|
I am a citizen of Bangladesh, so the name of my beloved city is "Dhaka". It is the capital of our country. Everything is available here. Everything that people need in their daily work is available in this city. Here are the main branches of big banks, the country's law courts, police stations, big hospitals, shopping malls, markets, industrial factories, main benches of all government organizations, famous universities, colleges, and schools, everything is in our Dhaka city.
Shopping mall
I like this city because it is comfortable to live here and everything is available nearby. Apart from that, I like this city because there are some resorts, and playgrounds to visit or to make myself a little happy, and because of the convenience of transportation.
Have you ever lived there, or do you just love visiting? |
---|
Yes, this is my birthplace, I grew up in this city, and since I was little, every street, street, field and everything in this city is intertwined in my memories. I find myself in everything, the light, the air of the city.
River
I have always loved this city, the river flowing through the city always attracts me. Yes, I love to travel a lot. There are many places to travel in our city, where I find joy in exploring myself. Traveling makes everyone happy, but people from other cities come to my city to travel.
I'm there any tourists attractions in your favorite city? If yes then tell us about them. |
---|
Yes, there are many tourist places in our city, including Ahsan Manzil, Lalbagh Fort, Zoo, Botanical Garden, Chandrima Udyan, Dhaka Museum, Hatirjheel, Diabari, Dhanmondi Lake, Curzon Hall, Nandan Park, Jamuna Future Park, Zinda Park, Ramna Park, Panam City. Etc.
Botanical Garden
There are some tourist places that were the houses of the kings and landlords during the Mughal rule, are now tourist places. Apart from this, there are several lakes here such as Hatirjheel and Dhanmondi Lake.
Panam City
Here, the mind will become cool without knowing it, its beauty will attract everyone. Apart from this, this city has become quite famous due to many beautiful tourist places like museums, zoos, and botanical gardens.
If someone visited for the first time, what is the one place they must see? |
---|
If someone is traveling for the first time, I will take him to Panam City. Because there are buildings that are about 500 years old. During the reign of Isha Khair, big businessmen of the past used to live and do business here.
Panam City
But they all came from Arabia for business. There are 52 buildings in 2 rows here and each building is in a row. Each house is made with artistic craftsmanship, bricks are used for building with cast-iron brackets due to which these houses are still intact even though they are 500 years old. There are 5 ponds in this city and each house has a well, there are roads from one side to the other to go to the city.
Sweden Guest
The most interesting thing is that Panam City is among the 100 historical cities in the world that are in ruins. The World Monument Fund published Panam City in the list of 100 historical sites in the world in 2006.
So people from different countries come to rape Panam City, I went there a few days ago and I took a picture with a Swedish citizen there. So I think this place is one of the most tourist places in our city.
I would like to invite my friends @suborna03 @mariagood and @mohammadfaisal to take part in the contest

Brother, I am really impressed to read such a beautiful and detailed description of your beloved city Dhaka. The mix of diversity, historical places, and modern amenities of Dhaka really makes it unique.
Thank you for describing historical places like Panam Nagari and highlighting its importance. The 500-year-old architecture and its artistic craftsmanship are truly amazing. It was also nice to know that it is one of the 100 historical places in the world. Your memories and love for the city are evident in your writing. It is not only informative, but also emotional. Best wishes to you!
