The Diary Game: 18.02.2025 | Enjoyed A Night Cricket Tournament

It was a day full of excitement as the grand finale of the three-day-long night cricket tournament was set to take place tonight. From the morning, I was eagerly looking forward to the match.

After having breakfast, I spent some peaceful moments in my garden, where I admired the beauty of the blooming flowers and met my neighbor’s cat.

Later, I went to a tea stall, where I met a younger brother and enjoyed a cup of tea. After a short walk with him, I headed home. On my way, I came across a beautiful white cat and couldn't resist capturing some pictures of it.

While a team was planning before the game

After having lunch, I took some rest in the afternoon. In the evening, I headed to the field to enjoy the final matches of the tournament. Since I arrived a bit early, I joined the kids for a short game of cricket before returning home for a while. A little later, I went back to the field just in time for the start of the semi-final match.

The tournament followed a short-pitch format, with each match consisting of just 8 overs. I was eagerly hoping for my favorite team to win the semi-final, and they put up a great fight. However, despite their efforts, they narrowly lost by just 4 runs in a thrilling contest.

After the semi-finals, I stayed to watch the grand finale. The team from Nilphamari emerged as the champions, securing a well-deserved victory. To celebrate the occasion, the boys from our colony organized a feast. I collected my meal and headed home, where I enjoyed it in comfort. It was truly a joyful and memorable day.
