The Diary Game: 06.07.2025 | A Quiet Day of Rest and Memories

On this bright day, I woke up a bit late. Because of my knee injury, I had to stay at home with not much to do. The boredom was getting to me, so I asked one of my younger brothers to come visit me in the afternoon.

Until he arrived, I spent a rather lazy day. After breakfast, I rested for a while, and later again after lunch. A little while later, my younger brother came to meet me at the colony field. I slowly walked there, taking careful steps, and welcomed him.

We sat on the ground and chatted for a while, enjoying the calm atmosphere. Then we took a few photos around the colony together. After that, I brought him home with me to spend a bit more time.

It was actually his first time visiting our house. My mom warmly welcomed him and prepared some snacks along with a few slices of fresh mango for him. We sat together, enjoyed the food, and spent some time chatting and laughing. It was a simple but pleasant moment that made the afternoon feel special.

In the evening, my younger brother planned to head back home. Before he left, I took him to meet another one of my younger brothers, who happens to be his colleague at work. It was a nice moment, they got to chat a bit while we all spent some time together. Overall, it was a wonderful afternoon. As the sun began to set, my younger brother said goodbye and left for home.

In the evening, one of my badminton friends called to check in and asked about my knee condition. I told him that the pain had eased a bit and things were slowly getting better. He kindly invited me to visit the badminton court with him on his bike. I accepted the invitation and accompanied him to watch a match in which my friend would play, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It felt a little sad to watch others playing badminton while I could only sit and watch because of my injury. I missed being part of the game, but I knew I had to give my knee time to heal.

Afterwards, he dropped me off at the bus terminal. On my way home, I bought some eggs and then returned by motor van. It was a simple but refreshing evening that lifted my mood. After returning home, I had my dinner on time and took my medications. I planned to write a post on Steemit that night, but it got late. I only managed to upload the images and add a few captions underneath them then I fell asleep before I could finish the post.
