Greeting my dear friends. Welcome to another new travel blog. Today I am here to share with you my travel experience from Hemnagar Zamindar house located in our Tangail district. You all know that zamindar houses are very old and they attract tourists quite a bit so I myself am sharing my experience visiting Hemnagar zamindar house.

Some time ago I went with my family members to visit the Hemnagar zamindar house of our place called Hemnagar in Tangail district. First we hired an auto rickshaw from our village and then by auto rickshaw we all left for Hemnagar Zamindar house. In no time we reached there and we were disappointed about one thing when we got there. That is the entrance gate was closed so we entered inside the zamindar house from the back side of the zamindar house through another route.

At first sight one can understand how old the zamindar house is and apart from us we noticed the presence of many other people who like us came to visit this Hemnagar zamindar house. The house was very ancient and various small and large weeds covered the house. From outside the zamindar house we first started enjoying the beauty of the exterior of the zamindar house

Zamindar houses are really nice because even though this house is old, the structure of this house is still very strong. I really liked the beauty of this house when I first saw it so I took a lot of photography from the outside of the house and took some pictures with the Zamindar house. According to information, this zamindar house is more than 100 years old.

Then after inspecting several parts of the exterior of the zamindar house, I entered inside the zamindar house and there I saw some large and narrow verandahs which, when viewed from the verandah, were rectangular in shape and gave a good view of the surrounding area of the zamindar house. I stood on the balcony of the zamindar house and captured the picture of the beautiful rectangular house inside the zamindar house with my mobile camera. Other members of my family, including me, enjoyed this scene quite a bit.

Then I stood on one side of the rectangular zamindar house and captured a picture of a balcony of the zamindar house on my mobile. We enjoyed walking through the verandah and visiting the various structures inside the zamindar house which we liked very much. But one thing caught our eye and that is the casting of the upper part of this huge zamindar house on solid iron which made this zamindar house even stronger.

We then proceeded further through the inner verandah of the manor house and found another narrow rectangular part of the manor house which looked much more abandoned. Various small and large plants had grown on these buildings for a long time, which made the building seem more ancient. Moreover, due to lack of maintenance for a long time, several small trees grew inside the landlord's house, which made this house more haunted.

Then we all stood in front of the small rectangular structure of the zamindar house and took several pictures. To tell the truth, if I were alone, I would not have dared to enter this house because even though it was day time, the situation inside this zamindar house was very tense and the surroundings were very quiet. There was no sound except the occasional sound of our footsteps, and certain parts of the manor house were quite dark, which seemed even more eerie.

But we were finding pleasure in books too, so we spent quite a bit of time there. At one point I captured a video footage of this part of this old landlord's house on my mobile camera. Originally I went out of the Zamindar house and re-entered the Zamindar house to do this video and I only recorded one side of the Zamindar house on my mobile.

Along with the video, I captured various pictures of the different settings of the Zamindar's house with my mobile camera. Although it was already noon by the time we visited the zamindar house, still several places inside the zamindar house were a bit dark which showed the sinister side of the zamindar house in front of us. To be honest I was feeling quite scared at times as I am always a bit scared in such an old house. But having my family members with me makes me feel a little less scared.

After wandering around below the manor house we find a staircase leading up to the top of the manor house. Then we climbed the stairs of the narrow street to the top of the zamindar's house and started capturing the scene on my mobile camera. From the rooftop of the zamindar house it was nice to see the other structures below the zamindar house so we also wandered around the different corners of the zamindar house roof and kept taking pictures of the zamindar house on our mobiles.

Then I walked directly from the roof of the zamindar's house to the front of the zamindar's house. Zamindar House Looking down from the roof in front of the Zamindar House, one can see a vast field that is basically adjacent to the Hemnagar Zamindar House. But after I walked from the roof to the front of the zamindar's house, I saw some abandoned windows and through all these windows the lower part of the zamindar's house was visible.

Standing in front of the zamindar house, it was good to see the vast field below the zamindar house for which I waited there for quite some time and enjoyed the view in front of the zamindar house while standing on the roof of the zamindar house. I was accompanied by other family members and they also came with me and enjoyed the view. At the same time, they were taking pictures of various installations of the landlord's house on their mobile phones. Then I myself took my mobile and took a picture of me with a part of the landlord's house on my mobile.

After staying on the roof of the zamindar's house for some time, we again descended the stairs ourselves and then walked through a narrow path to reach the place in the middle of the zamindar's house. To be honest the insides of the zamindar house looked quite old and scary and we were enjoying the view of this zamindar house through this fear.

1000028055.jpg

Finally we decided to go outside the zamindar house and then tried to get out from one end of the zamindar house through the narrow balcony of the zamindar house. As we were coming out of the zamindar house we noticed several structures of the zamindar house and that is the buildings above our heads which were already collapsing.

1000028056.jpg

Then we came out from the other side of the zamindar's house and started looking at the garden next to the zamindar's house. But it is not surprising that these gardens were not built by the zamindar Hemnagar himself but the local residents planted these trees here. Looking at all the trees, it is understood that all the trees are not very old.

However, I liked this small garden of various plants so much that I stayed there for some time and took several pictures. Finally we finished visiting the landlord's house and left for home by auto rickshaw again.

Thank you for sharing the the treasure of old reminiscent which is deteriorating very fast without care. The importance of the building in the history of Bangladesh needs to be studied. I think the Zamindars were involved in the trade of famous Tangile Saree once the place was renowned for.
