Weekly Activity Report As A Moderator of the Hind Whale Community [January 19 - January 25, 2025]

in Hindwhale Community12 days ago (edited)

Hello, my dear friend, I am here today to present my weekly moderator report as one of the Hind Whale Community’s moderators. This report covers the activities from January 19 to January 25th. When I talk about my responsibilities, I mainly review postings on the assigned date and ensure that they are not plagiarized, bot-supported, AI content, or copyrighted images used. And also checked user status and edited their title.

Since one of our moderators, @pea07, resigned from the community, @abdullahw2 was chosen to take her position, and he started his responsibility as a new moderator. Since most of our moderators hold various contests on popular subjects, the number of community entries has grown daily. Additionally, many steemians had written very interesting blogs on a variety of subjects, including diary games, art, and crafts.

I am pleased to say that 16 bloggers submitted their entries to my last week's contest, "Pick a Word Paint a Story #08.". As well, I would like to let you know that newcomers have submitted very appealing entries. Let us now turn to my moderator report.

My actitivities

I was given the date of Wednesday, January 22, to evaluate the entries for that week. Therefore, using the basic steps outlined below, I thoroughly reviewed each post published in our community that day:

  1. User Activity and Voting CSI: I began by reviewing the voting CSI of active members. A few users had low or zero CSI scores, so I encouraged them to consistently vote and comment on others' posts to increase their voting CSI.
  2. Plagiarism and AI Checks: I used apps like SmallSEOTools and Duplichecker to confirm that the content was plagiarism-free. I also looked for AI-generated content on Zerogpt.com, Corrector-app, and Contentatscale.ai, intending to maintain content quality.
  3. Verification and BOT: I used Steemword.org to check the user's BOT. As well I confirmed whether the user is a verified member.
  4. Burnsteem Tag Check: I verified that people using the burnsteem tag had provided the correct beneficiary percentage.
  5. Steemexclusive: Finally, I checked whether every post has #steemexclusive tag.

This is our standard report for reviewing users' publications.

Feedback / Note |

My activities on the scheduled date.

On that day, I went through 45 posts because previous day entries were not verified as one of our moderators stepped down from the community.

As some members do not belong to club status, I advised them to power up their liquid steem into steem power to maintain their club status. Some members' voting CSI is zero or less than five; therefore, I advised them to interact with other members' publications to improve their voting CSI. The screenshots of my reviewed publications on that day are below.

Conclusion

My admin, co-admin, and team members, thank you very much for your support extended to me to carry out my duties smoothly. Additionally, I highly appreciate all of your dedication and hard work in improving our community to this top level.

Thank you for reading my report.
