Last week I was very busy with my activities; therefore, I could submit only a few entries to the site. Hence, I missed several contests. But now I am free, therefore I can work on this platform as usual.

Importance of Power Up

In our private lives, we try to earn and save some money. In that way, on this platform, power-up helps us to save our earnings. The power-up process helped me to increase my steem power in my wallet. Steem power is the most important factor of this platform. When we have more steem power, we can have more influence on the platform. When we have more steem power, it helps us to gain more curation awards, and our vote possesses more value. It also helps us to increase our reputation. Therefore, every time I have more liquid steem, I convert it to steem power. I believe now you all understand the value of the power-up process. Now let’s move on to how to do this process.

Here is my wallet right now; it has 134.449 liquid steem and 12151.123 steem power. I decided to power up 50 of my liquid steem into steem power. Now I demonstrate to you how I do that.

First I clicked the steem arrow, then clicked the power-up button as shown below.

Then I typed 50 in the amount column and pressed the power-up button as shown below.

Next pressing the OK button, I confirmed the transfer of vesting as shown below.

Now you can see in my wallet 88.536 liquid steem and 12201.709 steem power.
