St. Placid School and College is a renowned missionary school in Chittagong. The professor of this school, Brother Samuel Sabuj Bala CSC, organizes a science fair and cultural competition every year. This year, the science fair was organized for two days from September 24-25. The fair was inaugurated on the 24th and various cultural competitions were held. My son participated in the drawing competition. The science fair was opened to the public for inspection on the 25th.

Stage

After breakfast I left home at 10:30 am with the children to visit the science fair. The school was decorated for the science fair. The gate was beautifully decorated with paintings made by the children. A huge stage was made in the school grounds with various science related paintings.

The science fair projects were set up on the third floor of the school building.Apart from St. Placid School and College, students from various schools in Chittagong participated in this science fair. The fair emphasized the proper use of modern technology and how to bring the environment to a healthy and natural level.

This project demonstrates a renewable energy generation process where people can generate electricity even when they walk. It will not emit any carbon and will not consume any energy, which will protect the environment from the greenhouse effect. When a guest appears in front of each project, the students enthusiastically explain all the features of the project. Which is really commendable.

Currently, the number of plane accidents has increased. I like the use of this technology. Because if there is any possibility of a plane crash, passengers can land safely through parachutes.There was a fighter plane project at the science fair.

This project has shown how to get the maximum amount of energy using solar energy. Here, a device like Maximum Light Truck has been used with solar panels. As a result, the solar panel automatically takes the position from which the solar panel is able to produce the maximum amount of energy and can generate maximum power. This results in high efficiency of the solar panel.

Air purification

As a result of urbanization, industrial factories have been built. The air is being polluted by the black smoke emitted from these industrial factories. Polluted air is harmful to the environment. This technology has been shown in this project to purify the air. If it is possible to purify polluted air through this project, then it is possible to build a healthy and green world.

After visiting several more projects with the children, I returned home. It was a truly wonderful day. I was impressed by the children's knowledge of using modern technology.
