How to draw an elephant

Hello friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and thanks for stopping by my blog today I really appreciate it.

Here in my entry today I will be sharing with you all a step by step procedure of how to make a detaile drawing of an elephant with the use of pen only.

Material's used

• Black pen
• Sketch pad 🗒️

Step 1

In the first step as usual I then started with making a quick sketch of the elephant which was referenced from a 20 leaves book cover that I bought for class activities.

The picture was so nice and then I decided to draw and make my own copy of the picture with the use of just pen alone, my colleagues try to discourage me saying that it will be too difficult but I was stubborn so I continue drawing.

After making a quick sketch of the elephant 🐘 I started applying careful effects of light and shade on the drawing as seen in the above picture.

Step 2

In the second step as seen in the above picture I might have successfully gotten with an impressive carefulness the actual figure of an elephant, and at this point many of my colleagues and friends were actually gathering over me looking and learning from it how I apply my shade in drawing.

This was the second day in this my drawing, coupled with my tight schedules I'd manage to spend three days on this drawing, so here you will see three steps which of course represent three days of hard work.

In the final step I didn't have much work to do on the drawing other than completing the remaining part which wasn't much and then adding the water like effect as well as the little background to make it look nice.
