Contest Alert!! #HWC168|| A series of "This or That " contests - What is more important Degree or Skill ?

Hello friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day, today I will be taking part in the this and that contest organize by @jyoti-thelight which is titled "What is more important Degree or Skill"

Well, growing up, we were told that education is the key, and I remember very well that in our primary school days we used to sing about it, education being the key to success. But as we grew up, we started hearing that school is a scam, which, of course, leaves us in one of the biggest dilemmas of all time: to choose between school and skills.

Going to school means that you get to go through an academic setting of learning to acquire knowledge in a formal setting and at the end it awards certificates (degree) which helps an individual to obtain or secure a job to earn a living

Meanwhile skills on the other hand requires what we call apprenticeship which means working for a master in other to learn a certain skill

Well, for the purpose of this contest, I would choose degree. Why? It is because education teaches both morals and skills. Yes, education teaches skills and how to make creative use of them in order to be outstanding, and it also exposes a person to the right people.

Well, the advantages of degree are so many since it centers around education, and if I want to give a list of all of them, I don't think this page will contain them all. So, some of the advantages of degree are:

• A degree helps a person to secure a job
• And since before you get a degree you must go through Education, so education teaches good morals
• Education teaches good communication
• Education teaches values
• Education trains a person to be good citizens
• Education offers a secure source of income
• Education helps a person secure a profession etc

So, like I said, the importance of education is so great, and we all know how education has changed the lives of people through sound jobs according to their qualifications.

Skills are also very important because without them, you can't grow your business and earn a living. However, in the case of choosing just skills alone, I don't think that it would be wise because I have seen some people who have the skills but lack the ability to manage and catalyze them to be as productive as they're supposed to be.

So for this reason since education teaches both morals and skills for that I conclude my article that education as a process is far more better than skills without education.
