With grateful heart I have come to appreciate all who made this journey with me thus far, I can't get here without your support . My sincere gratitude goes to the steemit team for giving me the opportunity to serve as a curator in this noble platform,being a curator exposed me to many things ,I know what I learned during the process,I can remember when I was to make a report on behalf of my team ,on that faithful day network failed me I have to effortless and carefully work manually and I was happy my effort was hugely supported.
On this day, I joined this powerup contest week 76 to show how I made it to my second dolphin on steemit platform.

This is my wallet as at today before I login to my wallet as you can see I have 443.914 Steem.
When I opened my wallet with my active key , the transaction page opened and the power up button was showing green which means it's clickable.

The wallet was opened by me to carry out my power up transactions. I clicked on the green icon and the power up option popped up .
As you can see the next thing to do is to click on the power up icon , after that it will direct you to another step where you will put the Steem amount that you want to power up.
I entered 400 Steem ready to be powered up by me, I confirmed everything which is my name and the amount then I proceeded by clicking the power up and 🆗 .
After clicking on Ok , the transaction or power up will be successful if there's no network issues,mine was successful and I climbed to my double dolphin on steemit. Isn't that beautiful? That's the wonders of power up.

Here I hit my double dolphin, I can count it all to power up and my active participation in the platform.
Importance of power up.
As a steemian the importance of power up is no longer new , but it's necessary to remind those that may have forgotten or the newbies who may be wondering what is power up and the importance to their growth on the platform. Take a a close look here.
It grows your Steem power. Powering up just as I have done now helps every steemit users to build their steem power to a reasonable amount that will help them to support others. In return they have attractive curation rewards.
It's a power on it own in the platform. Imagine have trillions of Steem power in your wallet courtesy of power up , believe me you have the power to decide on useful policies here on steemit. Even building a community of your own without looking for extra support from anybody
It gives recognition on the platform. Power up helps someone to be recognized, hence it's growing your Steem power in order to support others. Other users may come to you for delegation or support.
It gives you the power to vote and get reward in return.
It helps you to save during rainy season.
It protects your Steem. Powering up helps your Steem to be at safe side ,hence it can not be easily be taken away by scammers without notice.
This is my stepping stone to another milestone on this platform, thanks to you all once more . I love power up on Steemit.

Easy steps to power up steem, a newbie can easily learn it through your post ma. Everything was broken down in different steps with screenshots making it more easier to understand.
