Hi friends,
It's a pleasure to share my power-up with everyone in this community and the Steemit platform at large. Today, I want to join the contest organized by @jyoti-thelight, which is a power-up contest.
Power up, as we all know, is a means of growing our accounts on the platform so as to have more influence on post payout whenever we vote on other people's publications. Today, I wish to also grow my account to earn more curation rewards.
Based on the rules of this contest, which requested that people with 10 steem and above can participate, I'm very much qualified for this, and for that reason, I have decided to share my entry. Please see the process I have used below to power up my Steem.
The steps I have used to perform this function are seen below. So I want you all to go through it and see the process I used to carry out this power up today.
Step 1: Go to your Steemit wallet and log in. When you login properly, you will see the page display in the manner below.
Step 2: Click on the drop-down menu, which is beside the Steem token, and click on power up, as seen in the below screenshot.
Step 3: Enter the amount of steem you wish to power up and then click on the power up button as seen in the screenshot below.
Step 4: Confirm the amount of steem you wish to power up by clicking on ok as seen in the screenshot below.
Step 5: Go back to your Steemit wallet and check if the amount you have powered up has been added to the power-up section. See the screenshot below.
Conclusion
Powering up Steem is one of the fastest ways one can grow their accounts in the Steemit platform. I have always admired it when I see people with big Steem power vote on my post, and I get a notification that a certain user has voted. I want to get to a stage where my vote on people's posts also will be visible.
With consistent power up I believe I will grow my account and also earn good curation rewards in the future. This is the first I'm doing officially and I hope to do more when good support comes.
