The Diary Game: Learning How To Play Talking Drum/ A Well Spent Friday [31/01/2025]

Good day all and a happy new month to everyone, it's weekend already and how did we even get here? I mean when was December and new year? I have been thinking about all of these and all I can say is God is faithful. Permit me to share how my friday went briefly.

I was just waking up when I heard a gunshot, it was actually for someone's traditional marriage that was going on next street. I stood up and said some words of prayers before stepping outside my room.

When I came back inside, I brushed my mouth and had my bath then took my breakfast before I decided to go get the talking drum I am currently having lessons on, I have always longed to learn how to play this instrument, at first it looked more like it was simple not untill I started playing it, I didn't even know one has to score note before playing it.

I know the talking drum disturbed my neighbors a little but at the same time, I haven't been disturbing them so why not disturb them for a little time at least for the first time. I did score some notes then by 11am, I dropped it and went ahead to make my first post on steemit.

After making my post, I helped two people make their first post on steemit before I was able to start making my promotional videos, the videos took me over 4 hours to complete but I was so kin to completing it that's why I had to just do away with farming airdrops for the mean time and concentrate on videos that will take me upto 3 days.

By 3pm, I turned on my hotspot then connected it to my system and began to farm some Depin Airdrops. While on it, I warmed the soup I had at home and took it. This was just me getting hungry randomly on Friday. After warming the soup, I ate it with garri.

After eating, I went to bed and had my little nap. My nap lasted just about 30 minutes, I was waken up by one of my steemit students, so I had to attend to her and when I was done with her, it was about some minutes to 5pm, then I went outside to stay.

By 6pm, I took my thrash and went to the dump site to thrash it since the new law forbids people to dump their thrash during the day not untill 6pm to 6am. Before I could even reach there, the dump container was filled up so I had to stretch my hands to the pile and dump it there.

Coming back home, I had to take my bath then ate the remaining soup I had at home. When I finished eating, I went through some messages on facebook, replied to them and then waited till 9pm then I came online on steemit again and voted for some posts and then that was it for Friday.
