Pick a Word, Paint a Story | Word: Glow

Hello to all my kind friends,

Today I pick the word glow. It is small word, but for me, it is very big inside. I don’t know many English words, but I know how glow feel.

🌅 Morning Glow

I wake up early today, before sun is strong. The light come from my window slowly, soft and warm. It not shout like noon sun. It just touch the wall like a soft hand. That small light make my heart feel calm.

I sit with my cup of chai. Steam go up slow. Birds make sweet sounds outside. I take small sips. My mind is quiet. No phone, no noise — only me and peace. That is glow for me.

👶 Glow from My Daughter

After that, my baby wake up. Her name is Ameerah Hassan, but at home we call her Guluna. She is 9 months now, very active and playful. She crawl fast on bed, throw toys, pull my dupatta, and give me smile.

When she smile, I feel something inside — like a warm light come from her to my heart. I am tired but her smile make me forget. I laugh with her. We play peek-a-boo. She shout and clap. I feel like I am glowing too, not only her.

🍃 A Breeze and Some Quiet

Later, I take her in my arms and go outside to balcony. The sun is soft, wind is slow. She look at sky, try to talk in baby words. Her eyes look at birds flying. She is learning world slowly.

That small breeze touch our cheeks. She close eyes. I feel it too. That wind also carry some glow I think — it is not light but still it make heart shine.

🧡 Peace in Evening

In evening, sky turn orange and pink. I sit again with tea. Guluna is sleeping in my lap. Her breath is slow, her face soft. I don’t say anything. I just look at her and then sky.

This is also glow. Not the one we see, but the one we feel.

✨ Final Thoughts

Glow is not only sun or bulb or light. It is also in:

• child’s happy laugh
• first sip of hot chai
• soft kiss from baby
• wind on face
• quiet in heart
• peaceful prayer

I don’t have big English. I don’t have big words. But this story is from my heart. I just want to say, life have many glows. If we stop and feel, we will see them.
