My Sanity-Saving Habit: Eating Fruit on Every Hectic Work Day.

As someone who is not stranger to hectic work days, I've learned that it's the small habits that can make the biggest difference in getting through those chaotic days. For me, one habit that's been a game-changer is eating fruit every day, no matter how crazy things get.

It started a few years ago when I realized that I was relying too heavily on caffeine and sugary snacks to get me through the day. Not only was this taking a toll on my physical health, but it was also affecting my mental well-being. I was feeling sluggish, irritable, and like was running on empty.

That's when I decided to make a change. I started keeping a bowl of fruit on my desk and making a conscious effort to eat a piece or two every hour. It wasn't always easy, especially on days when I had much printing work in office and time to deliver were looming. But I was determined to make it a habit.

Fast forward to today, and I can honestly say that eating fruit on every hectic work day has been a lifesaver.

I was running short on fruits in the office and it was a time to take a break from hectic work day and have some fruits to calm down myself. I then called my fruit vendor to bring them to my office and sale for me, the reasons I chose eating fruits everyday is not far fetched.

To boosts my energy: Fruit is packed with natural sugars, vitamins, and minerals that give me a much-needed energy boost when I'm feeling drained.

It helps me stay focused: Eating fruit regularly helps me stay hydrated and focused, even on days when I'm juggling multiple tasks and deadlines.

Supports my mental health: Fruit Contains antioxidants and other nutrients that have been shown to support mental health and reduce stress levels.

It keeps me full and satisfied: Eating fruit regularly helps curb my cravings for unhealthy snacks and keeps me feeling full and satisfied until my next meal.

Some of my favourite fruits to snack on
during hectic work days include:
• Pawpaw: Crunchy, satisfying, and packed with fiber.

• Bananas: convenient, energy-boosting, and a great source of potassium

• Pineapple: juicy, refreshing, and high in vitamin C

• Watermelon: Easy to eat on the go, and
rich in antioxidants.

Incorporating fruit into my daily routine has been one of the best decisions I've made. It's a simple habit that's had a profound impact on my physical and mental well-being. Even on the most chaotic days, I know that I can count on fruit to give me the energy, focus, and calm I need to power through.
