As mentioned in the previous diary, we had finished our visit to Tirupati temple on the 24th and had gone to our room early in the morning. After a long sleep, we got ready and came out at 10 am. Since we had a train booked for 3 pm, we had decided to have breakfast and explore the city of Tirupati.

We went to a restaurant called "Spicy Paradise" there. The restaurant was very clean and beautiful. So, we decided to eat there. My husband ordered full meals. I ordered tomato rice. My son and daughter ordered their favorite puri. The food took a while to arrive, until then we chatted for a while. After a 15-minute wait, the food we had prepared arrived, and we all ate together.

After eating, we paid the bill and came out and walked around the streets of the city. We bought some things from the shops there. Then, since it was time for the train, we went back to the hotel room where we were staying. Then we got ready to leave for town and started packing our things.

The train was scheduled to leave at 3 pm and the railway station was about a 10-minute journey from our hotel room. However, we vacated the room at 2 pm and took an auto rickshaw to the railway station. Since it was only a six-hour journey from Tirupati to Coimbatore, we had booked a sitting train. There were no sleeper classes in this train, only sitting seats and AC chair cars. Since it was the rainy season, we decided that AC was not needed. When we reached the railway station, a "Vande Bharat" train was passing by. Our train got lost near it, so we sat in our train and took a picture of the "Vande Bharat" train nearby.

We sat on the seats given to us. The train was very clean and comfortable. There was no pressure as the crowd was less. The train left exactly on time. The views on both sides were beautiful while the train was going. I kept taking pictures with my cell phone from time to time. The train was a little slower as it was going through the mountains, so it was easier to see the scenery.

There were big buildings in some places. Since the train was going in a mountainous area, there were big mountains on both sides. Their natural view was very beautiful. The train was going at the foot of the Western Ghats. Also, since the entire foothills belonged to the government, there were not many houses there and it was all forests. There were some fertile lands here and there. There was a lot of farming and snowing going on.

Since it was the rainy season, it was full of greenery. In some places, rice was cultivated. In some places, corn and millet, cassava, pulses, etc. were cultivated. Here and there, mango orchards and coconut trees were also planted.

In a village area, construction work was going on for free houses to be built by the government for the poor tribes who belonged to these mountain regions. I could see more than a thousand houses being built there. I took some photos, and I will share them with you. Houses are being built for them as they are being evicted from the forests. The government is taking such steps because the entire Western Ghats has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I fell asleep due to the train's jolting and the noise of the journey. When I woke up and saw the writing, it was dark. Our destination was approaching very close. Almost all the passengers in the train had gotten off. When they reached their towns, they got off. Since our town was the last station, there were not that many passengers in the train. All the seats were empty. We reached Coimbatore station at around 10 o'clock, after which we all booked a taxi from there and reached home through it. By the time we reached home, it was 11 o'clock. Thus, the journey of the day was very pleasant and trouble-free. I thank God for that.
