The diary game ||Better Life with Steem|| Purchasing and unboxing a new laptop
Hi friends, I am going to share with you my experience of purchasing a new laptop
My daughter is currently studying engineering in her first year. She needs a laptop. She is doing engineering drawings and needs a laptop with high power and configuration. We went to the market yesterday to buy it. My husband is into computer and peripherals sales and service, so we went to a wholesale supply store yesterday. We had already made sure to purchase the model that my daughter had already chosen.
The store we went to was the very famous "Savitri Computers and Photo House," which is located in the middle of the city. There is a separate area for dealers and a separate area for retail sales. My husband went to the dealers area and ordered the laptop we had chosen, and the formalities for it were going on. Then I looked around the store, and it was very big.
There were almost all the items related to electronics and computers. Apart from that, there were also studio-related items. I visited each section. I also needed a headphone, so I visited that too. From there, the representative showed me all kinds of headphones, for example, Bluetooth headphones, earpods, neckbands, and other types of headphones, and also showed them by brand. I really liked the net band called Pingers, so I took it.
After choosing it, I looked at the studio-related products there. Then, I saw the Nikon cameras that were there. Each one was amazing. A DSLR camera used on YouTube cost two lakhs and had many features. I wanted to buy it, but I couldn't because the price was high. At the same time, my husband had purchased a laptop and had ordered the necessary frames and accessories for his shop along with it.
Similarly, there were various lights used in the studio, such as umbrella-like light ports, focus lights, etc., and there were games and equipment needed for video recording. Similarly, there were various background screens, as well as cameras, racks, printers, etc. I looked at them all and took photographs.
The laptop we bought was an Asus brand; it was a laptop with high graphics with an AMD processor called TUFGAME. We paid for it and left from there. Upon reaching home, after freshening up, I offered a puja and thanked God for the laptop we had bought and then unboxed it. Although it was expensive, it did not have the free accessories that are given with other laptops.
There was just a box; when I opened it, there was a user manual and a keyboard cover inside, and a charger. I opened it and took it out. Its keyboard was illuminated with LED lights; its color kept changing; it was different. It had original Windows 11 installed. Other software, for example, MS Office and Basic applications, were there.
My daughter needed AUTOCAD and Photoshop, so my husband had said that he would install them later. After I turned it on, my son tried operating the laptop for a while, and he liked it a lot. I was watching some videos on YouTube and then my husband showed me its features and checked some technical specifications. My daughter is currently in a hostel, and she said that when she comes home on Sunday for the holidays, she will install the necessary software and take it to the hostel.
