SLC23-W5 // "Venezuelan Cuisine"
Hi friends,
I am Jyoti from India. Here I am going to participate in the SLC S23 W5 contest: https://steemit.com/globalcuisines23w5/@suboohi/slc-s23-week-5-exploring-the-global-cuisine-venezuelan-cuisine organised by @suboohi
What is new for you from the course, any spice or cooking techniques, or anything that you want to share?
After reading this lesson, I learned a lot about Venezuelan food, especially that they use a lot of corn in their food, and I learned that they eat a lot of meat. Apart from this, I feel that Indian food and their food are almost the same, especially the rice and spices seem to be almost the same.
Once, when I visited Goa in India, I had the opportunity to visit the French and Portuguese living area there. Then I had the opportunity to taste Venezuelan food in a restaurant there. They made a stew with fish and corn. It was very delicious and a dish that I had never eaten before, and it was different.
Make the given recipe or any recipe that you like from Venezuela cuisine step by step in detail with pictures. Include your name tag with date in final presentationof recipe.

Step 7 :
Add required amount of water and add the sauteed chicken cubes in it
Step 8 :

Now the spicy and delicious Rice with chicken and vegetables is ready. Serve hot with curd salad or drinks
Is your local cousin has any food that resembles with the shared recipe?
Yes, similarly, Kongunadu Chicken Biryani and Vegetable Chicken Biryani are made in our village. Apart from a few ingredients, ingredients available in our country are added, especially garam masala, cloves, cardamom, saffron, etc. Apart from this, Ghee the main ingredients are added to it. The taste is almost the same.
Which flavor or spice do you like from Venezuelan cuisine?
Dried Oregano and Dried Thyme are sounds different and never tied before, i searched here in the market and couldn't find it. I think I like it when I see how you explain how to use it in your lesson. I think I should try it. Next time I get a chance to go to the city, I will look for these spices and cook them.
I would like to invite my friends

¡Holaaa amiga!🤗
I really liked your recipe team and the way you made a recipe from a different country in a very simple way and with very few ingredients. It's great to be able to make such dishes at home because where the dishes are popular abroad, you can make those dishes for your family at home. It's great. Also, the food looks much more tempting and delicious. Best wishes to you.
