The Diary game. Ramadhan day 4. Embracing the Serenity of Ramadan: A Day of Tasks, Reflections, and Tranquility
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
As we are going through Ramadan, the holy month in the Islamic calendar in which we fast throughout the day, rising early is very important for having the pre-dawn meal, which must be completed before the actual sunrise. For that reason, I got up early at around 4:30 AM, and after performing ablution for prayers, I joined my parents, who had already gathered in the dining room for Suhoor, which is an obligation and a part of the fasting. After finishing the meal, I went for the morning prayers at the nearby mosque. It took me about an hour there. These days, a good number of people can be seen in the mosque early in the morning because people stick to fasting very strictly and then attend the morning prayers. After making supplications, I returned home to go for a second spell of sleep because I couldn’t complete my sleep as I have a bad habit of going to bed very late at night. The morning sleep is quite satisfactory, and today I had taken leave from the office, so I had enough time in the morning to sleep.
Today I had an important assignment at hand at my home. As we are going through the spring season, I had already taken up the task of transforming the backyard of my house into a green lawn. For that reason, I needed to fill and level the backyard to make it look beautiful without any inundations and prepare it for making a lawn over there. I got to work at around 11 AM and removed all the unwanted materials, trying to level the filling which I had deposited just a few days back. The soil was a little muddy because of the rainfall a few days ago, which made my work a little difficult. Meanwhile, the cat had a good time with me as she roamed around, played, and actually showed her wild instincts by grabbing my clothes and trying to bite my thumb. It was quite a pleasing time with her, and it’s always good to have such a cute little kitten at home.
Later in the afternoon, I had to visit the place where my maternal aunt is posted, in a distant village, to complete the e-KYC process for children who benefit from a government nutrition scheme. My maternal aunt, who is not in a position to visit the village herself, assigned the task to me. Since the village is close to the one I live in, it didn’t take me much time to reach there. On reaching there, I straightaway got to work and finished the e-KYC process for a few beneficiaries, while others still had their identity cards unverified and would need some more time to provide their Aadhaar cards for verification. Later in the day, I returned home, and it was quite close to the time for breaking my fast. After breaking my fast, I offered the evening prayers.
Later in the day, after having an early dinner, I went to fetch some groceries from the nearby market. While I was on my way back home, I witnessed a beautiful sky with twinkling stars adding to its beauty. I tried to capture the scene on my phone, and it was such a pleasing view that I forgot everything for some time and was quite absorbed in it. Later, after performing the special Ramadan prayer, I returned home and went to bed at around 11:30 PM, ending my day in this way.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
