The Diary game.Ramadhan day 1. A Day of Fasting, Work, and Spiritual Reflections in Ramadan
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
As we have a very holy and blessed month of Ramadan, today I had to get up very early in the morning at around 4:30 AM for the predawn meal, to embark on a new 30-day journey of fasting throughout the day without even a single gulp of water, and to spend most of the time in this holy month doing charity, helping the poor, helping weaker people, and also praying to the Almighty. This month is full of blessings, and we can literally feel the blessed environment which this month ushers in.
Before I could have the meal, I first performed ablution and then went straight to the dining room where other members of the family had already gathered and had just started their meal, and I was a little late to get together with them.
Anyways, we started our holy month together and after finishing the meal, I went for the morning prayers in the nearby mosque and upon completing the prayers, I returned home to straight away get to bed for a second spell of sleep because I couldn’t complete my sleep throughout the night as I had gone to bed very late last night.
Upon getting up at around 9:30 AM, I got fresh and then got ready for office and then headed straight towards the village where I have been posted for the tasks I have at hand these days.
The primary work of registering the beneficiaries who actually are homeless or are living in very unsafe mud houses has come to a halt for a few days because our attention has been diverted towards something very important at this moment, which is registering beneficiaries for the solar rooftop scheme, which would actually help people generate electricity and also minimise their electricity bills.
For this reason, we have been told to register more and more beneficiaries in these rural areas, not only to help them with subsidised solar rooftops but also to help them with reducing the burden of electricity bills and thus help them economically.
I simultaneously do these tasks of registering beneficiaries for rooftop solar as well as for the housing scheme because I have been posted in a very far-off village where a lot of families are eligible for the housing scheme, and I try to finish both tasks simultaneously to improve my progress.
Even after having a Sunday today, as I had committed to be present in the village to a number of callers who had been calling me for registering them for the same schemes, I couldn’t stay at home and decided to help those people with these registrations.
While I was on my way to the village, the beautiful landscape attracted me and made me take some photographs along the way. It’s quite a beautiful village, and the road leading to the village is even more beautiful, surrounded by evergreen pine trees and snow, making an eye-catching combination. I love the scenes.
I Remained busy with work till afternoon, and then I headed back towards my place as I was fasting and was feeling a little exhausted. On reaching my place, I straightaway went to refresh myself by taking a nap for about an hour, after which I got up and then went to offer the afternoon prayers in the mosque.
Later, I got involved in preparing some food stuff for breaking the fast, i.e., iftari, and later on, after breaking the fast, I again went for the evening prayers.
Later, upon finishing the long Ramadan special prayers called Tarawi, I returned home to study a little bit about Indian ancient history. It was around 11:30 PM when I went to sleep to give myself enough time to complete my sleep till 4:30 in the morning, as in Ramadan, we need to rise early to have the predawn meals.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
