The Diary game. From Office Work to Ramadan Shopping, Preparing Iftar, and Offering Special Prayers
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
We have the holy month of Ramadan, during which Muslims all across the world observe fasting and engage in good deeds that we are encouraged to practice throughout the year. However, special emphasis is placed on these activities during this month.
Today, I woke up early at around 4:15 AM to fast. I had already set an alarm to ensure I was on time for the pre-dawn meal, which must be completed within the stipulated time. After finishing my meal with more than 15 minutes to spare, I performed ablution and then went to the mosque for the morning prayers.
The mosque is full these days, as most people come to pray, making it feel even more peaceful and divine. After spending more than an hour there, I returned home and went back to bed for a second spell of sleep until 9 AM.
Most of our time these days is spent engaging in religious activities, leaving very little time for sleep. To make up for this, the early hours of the day after morning prayers become crucial for rest.
Today, I attended the second day of the workshop, which is being organized to raise awareness about carbon neutrality, measures to mitigate carbon emissions, and alternatives to reduce carbon output.
Senior trainers from the district level have been appointed to impart this training to frontline workers of the department who work in rural areas. Since they are in direct contact with the public, they can play a crucial role in transforming rural India and making villages carbon neutral.
The trainer put all his energy into disseminating information to the attendees. I listened attentively and learned about several useful strategies for ensuring carbon neutrality in these areas.
After the training session was over, I headed back to the main office block to complete pending tasks, primarily processing bills that had passed the technical check and were forwarded to us for further payment.
I needed to meticulously check all the required documents to finalize payments for the works executed in the block throughout this financial year. Earlier, in the second quarter of the financial year, the code of conduct for elections was enforced, causing a halt in all development works. As a result, these works were executed very late in winter, leading to a backlog of processing that now has to be completed in the last few weeks of the financial year. Had the works been completed on time, we would have finished processing all the bills by now.
Later in the day, I went to a nearby town where I had to buy groceries and other essentials for the holy month of Ramadan. Upon reaching home, I immediately started preparing for breaking the fast.
After praying, I returned home for an early dinner, after which I went to the nearby mosque to offer special Ramadan prayers. By the time I returned, it was around 10:30 PM. I went to bed, scrolled through social media for a while, and then, feeling sleepy, turned off the lights and called it a day.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
