The Diary game. From Ledgers to Landscapes: A Day of Work, Walks, and Wisdom

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

I have a good habit of rising early, and although sometimes I may not want to get up, the early sunrise that strikes my eyes usually makes me uncomfortable in bed. No matter how much I try to sleep again in daylight, it’s nearly impossible for me to get any sleep. Taking it as an opportunity to maximize my time and make the most of it, I usually kick myself out of bed and start my day by offering the morning prayers at the nearby mosque. Starting my day with morning prayers helps me stay peaceful throughout the day, and over time, I have developed the quality of maintaining peace and composure even in challenging times. After I finish my prayers, I return to my place, water the lawn, remove weeds, and then do some physical exercises to help myself stay fit and agile, as it keeps me sound and makes me quite witty. Today, I did the same and then had my breakfast in a hurry because I had to reach the office on time to dive into the official assignments, accomplish them within the deadline, and submit them to the authorities.

It was quite a busy day at the office. I had to do some accounting for the previous years and then submit the information to the higher authorities. I have been doing this work for quite a few days now, and as our block is large, comprising a number of villages, the information for each village is being prepared, compiled, and then sent for further processes. As I am in the ward accounts section, our work becomes tedious sometimes, especially when the higher authorities need specific information that has to be extracted from huge datasets. Even the smallest tasks become tough, and the same was the case today. Anyway, it’s part of the job, and we hardly take it as a challenge.

After the office hours were over, I headed back to my place with some fruits that I bought from the nearby town. As I reached home, I freshened up and had a cup of tea before setting off for a walk towards the orchard. Taking a long walk to the orchard had multiple objectives—apart from the health benefits, I also took it as an opportunity to make new observations about the fruits growing there and to assess whether there was any need for spraying pesticides. I spent some time in the orchard, breathing in the fresh, cold air and helping myself stay away from the commotion. Believe me, staying outdoors in the evening always feels different to me—almost as if I’m in paradise. Just a few metres away, there was a boy herding sheep home. I knew him, so I went to see him, interacted with him, and asked a few questions about sheep herding and related things. I was quite surprised by his tactics and business ideas. I spent some time with him as well, as I already knew him. It was very late in the day when I returned home.

After having dinner at 10 PM, my sleeping time was pushed a little towards midnight, and it was around 12 AM when I went to sleep.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
