The Diary game. A Productive Day of Orchard Work and Garden Care
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
It was quite early in the day when my eyes opened. It was only because of some dream that I couldn’t remember, and as my eyes opened, the morning call for prayer was being called from a nearby mosque. I got up and purified myself by performing ablution, and then I went for the morning prayers in the nearby mosque. A good number of people were present there in the mosque, welcoming the morning prayers and starting their day with peace and gratitude to the Almighty, and so was I. Immediately after finishing the prayers, I made supplications and then headed back towards my place. These days, going on a walk early in the morning is no less than a waste of time for me because my brother’s marriage is approaching, and we have just two weeks’ time left. In this time, I have to make all the preparations, and in addition to it, I also have to make sure that I properly take care of my apple orchard, where we anticipate a good crop this year. As it was Sunday today, I had a lot of time for the activities that I had to accomplish throughout the day. In order to finish my work quickly, I also took help from laborers whom we usually hire to help us with different work at our place. It was around 9 AM when the laborers came, and by then I had finished all the morning chores.
As soon as the labor arrived, I loaded the spray pump into my car and we headed towards one of our orchards that is located right at the periphery of the village. It’s a good orchard, and I love working there because it’s quite a pleasant place to work at, and while going towards that orchard, I usually meet villagers whom I meet very rarely, and I just get a chance to reconnect with people. Today, I had to accomplish the spraying of pesticides in these orchards, and for that, I needed to be quick. Fortunately for us, the water required for spraying the pesticides was already collected in a container placed in the orchard, so we didn’t have to work hard to collect water. Upon reaching there, we just had to install the pump and start spraying the pesticides. Fortunately for us, the same was the case with the other orchards as well, as a few days back, my parents had already hired laborers who had collected water and pesticides in those orchards.
The work continued till late in the afternoon, and upon finishing the work, I, along with the laborers, returned home. Here, I now had to take care of the strawberries and other fruits that grow in the kitchen garden. For the strawberries, I needed to remove the weeds and add some manure to help them grow well and bear good quality fruits.
Lo as it was quite hot during the day, I bought a watermelon to eat, but unfortunately it wasn’t fit to be consumed as it was soft and didn’t taste well. For that reason. I threw it to the heap of organic waste, which we used to turn these organic waste into manure, which we later add and use in the agricultural activities.
For a day for me as I could finish a number of activities that actually belong to me and needed me to take care of them, and I with help of my labour was able to finish all these activities and will now feel relaxed and relieved for the next week .
