The Diary game. A Fruitful Day Rooted in Routine and Nature

in Hindwhale Community5 days ago

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

I got up very early in the morning as I have a good habit of rising early, and even if I get late any day, the birds come and usually start chirping on the windows and rear part of our house, which actually makes me uncomfortable in bed and forces me to kick myself out of the bed and start my day and dive into the daily activities. I straightaway went to perform ablution and to purify myself to start my day with the morning prayers, and for those prayers, I need to go to the nearest village mosque, actually a few metres from my house, and I can even hear when the prayer starts as the morning prayer is usually loud. The recitation of Quran by the Imam can be heard from a few metres away. As the prayer had already started, I was quite fortunate to reach on time and get into the prayers. After making supplications, I headed back towards my place to go into some gardening as I am quite enthusiastic about maintaining the aesthetics of my place—not only placing the vases at the right places but also removing the weeds and watering the lawn. It’s my primary work after finishing the morning prayers. Different plants need to be taken proper care of and need to be put in respective places for their survival.

With this, I did some physical exercise to help myself shed some mass. As I am feeling a little bulky these days, I have gained some weight as well. I need to do some basic exercise strenuously to avoid issues in the future. Done with all my morning chores, I had my breakfast together with my parents, who were already waiting in the dining room for me to return and get some breakfast. So I was able to finish all my morning chores, and today, as I had a holiday, I had already made a schedule of work that needed to be done.

One of the major tasks that needed to be done was picking apricots, as our orchard contains a few apricot trees, and this year, they yielded around 50 small boxes. In terms of weight, it was more like 150 kg of apricots. To pick them up, we need to stay in the orchard throughout the day. Only after the lunch break could I leave for some time out in the market because I had got tired of working, and it was not me who could climb the trees, but we had hired labourers who are good experts in climbing up the trees and picking apricots and all other fruits. Apricot trees are considered to be quite delicate and need to be exposed to light weights, and any heavy person can easily fall, and for that reason, a light-weight labourer needs to be hired before going for picking apricots.

It was quite a full-day job for me. Thankfully, the crop was good, but having a good number of relatives, we need to send them one box each to give them a chance of enjoying local fruit. I put here some photographs of the leftover fruits which were not fit for packing and exporting and were left out in the shed while we did the packing work throughout the day.

Later in the day, when I was done with work, I went to meet my friends, and then along with them, I went to enjoy some cool breeze out on the hilltop located just beside our village. It is a good escape from the heat wave and also provided me an opportunity to get together with my friends after some time. Later in the day, it was very late in the evening, around 8:30 PM, and we returned home, and then I had to bring some milk from my uncle’s home, where we usually do. It was at around 11:30 PM that I went to sleep and called it my day.
