The Diary game. A Day of Work and Worship: Orchard Care, House Visit, and Ramadan Prayers

in Hindwhale Community2 months ago

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

We are at the end of the second phase of Ramadan, and thank God, I have been able to fast throughout without taking any breaks. As Ramadan is a very holy month in our Islamic calendar, we respect it immensely and do what we have been asked to do as per the religious tenets. I got up early in the morning at around 4:15 AM to avoid making haste while having the pre-dawn meal, and before joining my parents in the dining room, I performed ablution to be ready for the morning prayers. After finishing the meal, I headed towards the nearby mosque for the morning prayers. I spent almost an hour there in peace and tranquillity, embracing the divine blessings, and upon heading back home, I straightaway got into bed for a second spell of sleep, as rising early in the morning and going to bed very late at night leave us with little time to complete our rest.

On getting up at 9 AM today, while enjoying my holiday at home, I had a good number of assignments to accomplish. Firstly, I had to spray some copper oxychloride on the apricot trees, which had started growing buds and would blossom in the coming days. I made sure to spray the copper oxychloride before the blossom time because spraying it later has an adverse effect on the trees. This was my first task in the orchard this year, and I did it with great excitement.

Later in the day, I had to visit my mom’s cousin’s home, as they are going to build a new house and have just started dumping the material for it. My mother told me to go there, congratulate them on their new endeavor, and provide any suggestions if needed, as I have been an engineering student as well. I stayed there for quite some time, and later in the day, I returned home. On the way, I bought some groceries and other items needed for breaking the fast, then headed home to prepare iftar.

After filling my tummy, I headed to the mosque for the evening prayers. Having an early dinner made me feel a little lazy, but I still couldn’t afford to skip the Ramadan special Tarawih prayers. Later at night, I returned home at around 10 PM and went straight to my room to go to bed and call it a day.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
