Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

I have a good habit of rising early, and today was no different. I couldn’t stay in bed for long, especially once I started hearing the chirping of birds from the nearby trees. I got up and freshened myself by performing ablution, and then I went to the mosque for the morning prayers to start my day with gratitude to the Almighty, who gave me another opportunity to fulfill the duties assigned to me in this temporary world. After making supplications, I headed back home and couldn’t go on a morning walk today either, due to the prevailing situation in the valley, where the atmosphere feels tense and going on early morning walks alone can sometimes be risky. I dedicated my time to removing weeds from the lawn and watering the grass. Later, I did some physical exercises to help myself stay fit and agile and to burn some calories, which can otherwise become a cause of various health hazards.

As my brother’s marriage is approaching—he’s getting married on the 17th of this month—the preparations are in full swing. Shopping for soaps and other garments that he would wear throughout the marriage ceremony was yet to be done, so today I took my brother along with me to Srinagar city to buy all these items. We also took our maternal uncle with us to help us with the different choices of clothes and their colours. It was quite an exhausting trip to the city, as we had to walk a long distance after parking our car at one end of the street. Sometimes having a car is a blessing, but at other times it becomes a problem, especially when finding a parking spot feels like a burden. Anyways, we cannot complain. Upon reaching Srinagar, we headed straight to the City Mall Street, located in the centre of Lal Chowk, a famous market in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

We went to different shops across the city to choose the best for my brother. Even after walking around the entire day, we couldn’t finish our shopping. As we began to feel hungry, we went to the famous snack shop, Shakti Sweets, where we had some Chole Puri. The restaurant is quite popular. We then returned to our place, as it had been enough for the day. I couldn’t continue there any longer because the restrictions on parking vehicles in the main city—developed under the Smart City project—added to our tiredness and made us reluctant to move any further.

Very late in the day, we reached home. Upon arriving at my place, I got freshened up, and after having some tea, I opened the products to show them to our family, who were eagerly waiting for them. I then went to fetch some milk from my uncle’s place.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
