The Diary game. A Day of Loss, Memories, and Reconnection

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

Today again, as part of my habit, I got up early in the morning. As I already had some resolutions in mind to accomplish throughout the day, I started very early. Right after getting up, I performed ablution and then went for the morning prayers at the nearby mosque. Thankfully, I was able to start my day with the morning prayers, which actually give me peace, energy, and a sense of control. After I was done with the prayers, I returned home and spent some time in the lawn doing some work there. After that, I took a shower and had breakfast with my parents, who were waiting for me to complete my tasks and join them.

Yesterday, I came across a status that my friend had uploaded, and it was a photograph of his mother. I was shocked to see “RIP” written at the bottom. It was quite a tragic moment for all of us who had spent time together in Dehradun and elsewhere. It was such sad news, but I stayed home for some rest and made a plan to visit and console my friend the following day. Very early in the morning, my uncle took my car and went somewhere without informing me. I was preparing to leave for the office for half a day and then head to my friend’s place in Kulgam. However, my mother informed me that my uncle and the car were stuck in a traffic jam and couldn’t return in time. As a result, I was delayed in reaching the office, but I waited for my uncle to return. As soon as he got back, I left for the office to mark my attendance. Later, as I had to attend a condolence meet at my friend’s house in Kulgam district, I left for Kulgam with another friend.

It was a long drive, more than a hundred kilometres, and I filled fuel in my car before heading towards the place. The beautiful landscape along the national highway made the drive pleasant—people could be seen taking photographs and enjoying the scenic views. Somewhere along the highway, we were stopped by the military until the convoy had finished crossing.

It took us more than two hours to reach there, and once we arrived, we called our friend who was waiting for us in one of the corners of his house. He was shattered by his mother’s loss, and we consoled him. After spending more than an hour there, we left to meet some other friends living in and around the area, as it had been a long time since our last visit. I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to see people with whom I had shared some beautiful moments of life. Since the area was unfamiliar to us, we joined some friends who took us to sit by the banks of one of the beautiful streams that run across the region. After spending some good quality time there, we left, and it took me several more hours to reach back home. I arrived at around 9:30 PM, feeling tired and hungry. Upon reaching home, I greeted my family and immediately asked for some food. After eating, I went to my room to sleep.

It sounds well You woke up early, prayed at the mosque, did some work in the lawn, then had a shower and breakfast with my waiting parents.
Good wishes to you.
