The Diary game. A Day of Duties and Disappointments Amid Unrest
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
I got up very early in the morning because of the chirping of birds that had come to the window of my room and started striking the glass panes, trying to get into the room. The sound was annoying, and I got up and beautified myself by performing ablution and then went for the morning prayer in the nearby mosque. I started my day with a gesture of gratitude towards the Almighty, which brings me peace, a sense of prosperity, and strong vibes to face my challenges with ease. After making supplications, I returned home. These days, I do not go on morning walks because of the tensions between the two neighbouring countries, which have escalated after the Pahalgam attack, where innocents lost their lives in a heinous terror attack. Instead of going for a walk, I usually water the grass and remove weeds. After finishing the work, I got freshened up and then had my breakfast together with my parents, who were already in the dining room waiting for me. After finishing breakfast, I got ready for the office and left with ample time to reach there on time.
On reaching the office today, we had to attend a social audit in a village where an audit was to be conducted of the works completed last year under MGNREGA. For the above-mentioned purpose, an official designated by the district administration was assigned to do so, and for that reason, we needed to be present in the office to help him with the various documents he required.
The social audit requires not only checking files but also visiting the sites where the works had been executed, and these works need to be in good condition. For this reason, we had to cover a considerable distance throughout the village. It is quite a tiring job, but still, we were able to achieve our target of finishing all the files today itself. For me, a lot of things need to be done in the next few days, as my brother is going to get married next weekend. For that, I need to make a lot of arrangements— in fact, everything that would be required at my place.
Later, when I was back home, I went to one of the cloth shops located in the village to buy some cloth for my grandmother. Upon returning with the cloth, I was disappointed to find that my grandmother didn’t like it, as she already had a number of white dresses, and adding one more to the collection was not appreciated by her at all. Anyway, I didn’t return the cloth to the shop but decided to buy her another dress.
Later in the day, even though I was very tired, I had to go to the market to buy some groceries and other items that my mother needed for the kitchen. I returned home with these items a little early, keeping in mind the tense situation between the two countries.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
