The Diary game. A Day of Duty, Devotion, and an Unexpected Setback on the Road to Ramadan Reflections

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

We’re in the holiest month—Ramadan—and as per religious tenets, Muslims must observe fasting, engage in charity, and show compassion, virtues required throughout the year but especially emphasized during this sacred period. These obligations are to be upheld with utmost devotion. I am particularly strict with fasting and other religious duties, which is why I woke up early at 4:15 AM, my alarm already set. The moment I got up, I went straight for ablution to prepare for the morning prayers.

Before heading to the mosque, I first completed my pre-dawn meal. As I stepped outside, a dense fog had swallowed the entire valley. It was an eerie yet thrilling sight—the kind that sends a shiver down your spine while filling you with awe. Visibility was drastically low, making every step feel surreal. When I arrived at the mosque, the congregation had already gathered, and just as I took my place, the prayer commenced.

I spent over an hour in the mosque, immersed in the serenity of the moment. Upon returning home, I went back to bed for a second spell of sleep—these days, with altered schedules, getting enough rest is a challenge.

I woke up at 9 AM, got ready for the office, and wasted no time reaching there. Every moment of office hours is crucial these days, demanding meticulous time management to maximize productivity and wrap up the financial year on a strong note.

Right now, our primary task is to inspect all the physical works executed in the block over the past year, ensuring that pending payments are justified. We must verify that these projects have been completed using high-quality materials and standard procedures and that they will effectively serve their intended purpose. It’s an exhausting process—moving from one site to another, assessing completion status, and processing bills. Lately, I’ve been accompanying the technical team, assisting them in carrying out their evaluations efficiently.

After finishing the day’s work, we were on our way back to the main office in the evening when one of the technical staff’s vehicles collided with another car, causing significant damage. It was disheartening to witness, as repairs these days are expensive—not only would it delay bill processing, but it would also cost him a considerable amount to fix.

Still, such incidents are a part of life. One must never lose heart over setbacks but instead keep their morale high and face circumstances with resilience, doing what the moment demands.

I reached home a little late due to the incident that occurred on our way back to the office. As soon as I arrived, I went straight into preparations for breaking the fast, assisting my mother in the kitchen. Time felt slow, and exhaustion weighed heavily on me, but the moment finally arrived—I had been eagerly waiting for it all day.

After breaking the fast, I went to offer the evening prayers and returned for an early dinner. Following some rest, I headed to the mosque again for the special Tarawih prayers. Later, upon returning home, I went to bed, bringing the day to an end.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
