The Diary Game: Going To The Market Under The Rain (11/07/2025)

I was listening to the radio today and one of the OAP said and I quote "Live it like it's your last day". This words was in sync with my thoughts and I hope to also share with you my friends but before doing so, let me share my day and how I lived it to the fullest.

The crazy part of these days mornings is that rain will first of all tell you "goodmorning" before anything else. We did not have food to eat and the only thing that was in the house was for my son so In order to cook I had to go to the market so that I could buy foodstuffs, I went under the rain to the market and here is how wet the market was.

The market was very scarce, this is the market that sellers and buyers do flood in every Tuesdays and Fridays to shop and sell but today was not the case. People couldn't come especially those that shopped much on Tuesday but since I was not with enough money I didn't buy much so I had to go under the rain to buy something.

My son's slippers cut the other day and since then he has been managing a mended slippers which I am not really okay with, I branched this woman's place where she sells rubber slippers, I bought for him and my hubby.

I bought other things and came back home, it was time to cook afang for the family after so many weeks we have stayed without eating afang soup. I bought the afang leaf and came back home, then spread it out for it to dry up so that I can chop them and cook.

After I finished drying the afang, I chopped it and cooked it so that I can eat and take it to my hubby. The soup's texture was just too beautiful and I loved the way I prepared it.

After I dished and eat, I bath and took some to my hubby in his shop and went to my son's school to take him back home. I branched this shop to stay because it was raining heavily again and I did not want my son to go under the rain so he won't be sick. The mistake I made was that I left my umbrella in my hubby's office.

As my son and I arrived the house, I boiled water immediately and bath him so he won't catch cold. After which I gave him the joy afang soup and he ate then I put him to sleep before I went to bed also .

When I woke up, I gave my son his medication and taught him what he was having difficulties in school, after I gave him assignment on what I taught him then I scored him and then it was over for home lessons.

Later in the evening, I went inside and called my hubby to come back because it was about to rain again, we bath and ate then we waited for hubby then I checked if I will be able to do contest but I was still having difficulties doing it so I waited for my mentor to come online so that I will show him where I had issue.

When hubby came back to the house, we ate together again then I made sure all of them went to bed before I checked my time and it was time for me write my diary game, so I will sleep after this one.
